Stardock is using me to test a possible fix theory, and I've pretty much decided to leave the partially-working WB7 alone. Maybe they'll actually fix it one day.
How about doing a backup of your system with this program [trial version] Acronis Home 2010 . Then try the fix with wb6... Somehow I see you still having an explorer background problem with wb6 installed. The reason would be with the drivers

Please give us the model and make of this laptop so as to figure what bios is being used here. would be good to assume you have it set for quick boot in the bio settings try changing that to multiple boot order and set a time out at 10 seconds so as to see a boot options screen to figure how you are going to boot... the other thing is that the system may not see these things due to bad hardware... but gona figure it is just set wrong for now. Please provided in
The work around I've found is to rename imageres.dll into imageres.old and then copy from a backup the original untouched imageres.dll. After that open IP and in the settings rebuild the icon cache.
Not always possible - best to do it the correct way with windows command prompt in an admin run as and type in sfc /scannow and let windows fix the changed files. Personnaly I've found no files changed imageres.dll but that of Vista Logon Studio. The dll file can als

Be nice if 1080i was a regular res. ... I only use that now with my HD monitor and sometimes it gets a bit picky finding a good wall with the right stuff. Not saying much for regular walls included with win7 for that. But any and all HD's are good to go for me. [e classic]:hot:[/e]

I would suggest everyone contact [email protected] with this problem. It may be a simple fix; but then again it may need to be gone over carefully to see whats up.
So much that I have read about the 'Social' sites have kept me away from them. I suppose we only get to read the bad things that happen.
Be selective and wise in your decisions for who you are contected too. Most of those people are just all over the place and care very little about who they allow and such. Social networks can be used for a very professional means of contact; if it is used correctly! I use them a lot - plus I'm married and have 2 kids. But I'm

Those black areas usually happen due to a transparency setting being used in wb7 for this type of skin. [Which is designed to not use trans. settings.] There are several ways to correct the issue. But the easiest way is to open up wb7 and change the transparency setting to the reset all link at the bottom right side below Vista-ize me link. Then reapply the skin with those settings. The skin itself has trans. and the level if trans made into the images and how it is setup in the skin itself.

You will need to have Skin Studio 7 to edit the file. It was not designed to work properly with the small tool bar or that is icons. I made a substyle for the small icons and called it just that Diamond Small icons and then made my adjustments to the skin to have it work correctly. As seen here... Then the adjustment was done to the tray section with a -negitive number being
