Great article Brad it gives you give us a different perspective of the pc gamin industry and pirating from a developers view point You want to fight piracy, don't give people a reason to pirate. Exactly, the U.S. Congress is currently debating a broad bill that is designed to fight piracy, although it's all encompassing and threatens more than just pir

Cathy, you're welcome. I think what motivated me to write this blog about Maslow was a need to receive feedback on what others might think that drives our motivation in the first place. I had heard about Maslow and his theory a couple years back in a class and I was wondering where I fit in now, in his theory. I also wanted to present this to others because his theory sometimes places things in your life into priorities. I'm glad I made you

There are a couple of senators that are trying to fix the piracy issue in the United States with a very broad bill that threatens media period. I don't know if you know about it but I wrote an article on it here is the link... Link

I have to say that I agree with your list but would like to suggest the great Roberto Clemente who won 4 batting crowns with the Pirates and hit .414 in the 71 World series. He died on a plane crash while flying relief supplies to Nicaraguan earthquake victims.

Thanks for your comment. I like your perspective it's altruistic. I can see what you mean, we should always be ready to help those in need and if we can with ease we should. I think the hunger stage or the physiological stage is if it's in the extremes. Or in other words if I am having difficulty providing food for myself...

Man I had Andrea Bocelli all wrong maybe it was another person all together I was thinking off, hmm I'll have to check what I was listening to. Anyways thanks for clearing that up Dharma.

Thanks for replying Marco, I enjoyed your response you make some good points. I think up until recently psychologists always relied heavily on behavior and what is physically noticeable. With science moving as quickly as it is we are beginning to understand some of the brain's mysteries that before where just theoretical. There are scientists currently working on finding out things like what in our brains makes us feel like we are in love, how empathy works between people, a

It also means, I'm going to live peacefully, without pause but without rushing. That's a literal translation I gave you, Spanish can be translated into differing meanings in English so it also means what you say just it a different way. Depending on what nationality you are it can vary. A Cuban may say something that will offend a Mexican without even knowing it. Hmm as far as suggestions there are many, just off the the top of my head my most recent listening was Tit

Hey shades glad to here you like Spanish music. I grew up in that atmosphere so I've heard my share of Spanish songs. You translated everything perfectly and if I may ask do you need help translating the last part?

Ribfest, oh that sounds great. Down here in Orlando they had a Chilifest but a ribfest would be welcome. I have to agree with you on the T-Bone, that one almost made my favorite list. It was real hard to exclude it considering how good it is. Most of the food you mentioned is delicious as well and you can see why it's hard to choose. I had forgotten about cheesecake which is definitely one of my favorite desserts. Perhaps I should have ordered it

At work today, we decided that we should order out as a group and get some good food. One of my co-workers suggested we order her favorite food from a local Chinese place not too far from our office building. She told us that her favorite food was Chinese which she hadn't had in a while. This sparked some furious debate between my colleagues and myself and people brought up some interesting favorite foods. One mentioned Thai food as his favorite on the merit that it's

These keep getting better and better. These are some key issues that you've hit on Mig. I'll try my best to articulate my opinion. 1. Woman's right to abortion: In my beliefs, every individual should have a right to choose what they want to do with their own life without the worry that some other individual who believes different will try to impose their beliefs on them. With that said I think women should have the right to choose what they want to do.&nbsp

Thanks Vanessa glad you liked it. I think for the most part we all work to get to the top but if your missing something like security, that aspect of your life demands attention. It's interesting how well this theory works with how we actually decide on what actions to take. Will, of course, is the most important factor because it determines how quickly we accomplish one of these stages and strengthens our resolve. Physiological needs are at the bottom which include hu

It's good to have a nice life. A life that reflects our ideals, beliefs, and desires. Some people get to witness this higher plain of life so to speak. This higher plain, for the most part, must be worked for in order to achieve it. </SPA

This person has archives?! "As I was sitting down I became aware that the temperature was neither too hot nor too cold. This being the case I made no adjustments to the temperature control on the central heating." I found myself reading this entry twice, and then I stopped.

Wow, that's some dense writing, but you bring up some good points. I also liked your loser article, I think a lot of the same people are losers (don't know if that's a good thing either way) but can't agree on the Central American part. I have a few comments on some things you've said. Whenever somebody recovers from alcoh

That's great writing. It's a beautiful comparison. Puts our life long struggles and plights into perspective.

I think that the newest and most influential factor of the human condition is the advancement of technology. Science itself has begun to move faster than ethics, morality, and the age old tried and true beliefs that many cultures have held to for very long periods of time. We are bringing up new questions and possibilities that put our deepest metaphysical and philosophical questions into perspective. Like AndyBaker said our crude five senses are no longer the only things we ha

I gave you a reply. Sometimes you may not get any replies, it all depends on the content, who is on, what time it is, and the title. Your posts have been deep but short questions, maybe if you give us what you think and then ask the question you may get more replies. Sorry you feel that this site is not what you expected it to be. I read two of your blogs not including this one I replied on one but the one about the purpose of life is hard for me to comment
