The biggest thing that's on my mind is the way that we have shown our weaknesses considering our delayed reaction to such a natural catastrophe. Imagine if this wasn't hurricane recovery but a nuclear bomb detonation in a much more densely populated area like L.A. for instance. Would it be just as slow? Wouldn't it be much more difficult. In addition I think that for socialism to work the quality of life for everyone would have to be equal and also satisfactory.
