In the written language, there are few phrases that irritate me more than this: "I could care less." Why does it irritate me so? Because it makes no sense. It is often used in place of the original phrase (penned by the British) of "I couldn't care less." This statement works. It makes sense. When I say it I mean exactly that: I care so little about [insert particular comment/rant/article/person here] that I actually could not care less.
I don't know, being a leper might be sort of fun. P'raps I should try to get on a few blacklists and such. A nice flame war might reinvigorate me. ;)
I actually didn't post this the day I wrote it, so I have had a few more runs since then. I still love it. Lance Armstrong congratulated me yesterday on my longest run yet. The past few times I have told it not how long, but how far I want to run. It is great, because I don't have to mark out a course. I just start running wherever I want and it tells me when I am halfway, almost there, etc. Very, very cool. ASaxyGirl: go for it. I think

You know, after we went down to Myrtle Beach, I was reminded just how much I love the beach, and being able to go into the ocean. I really love it. One of my biggest fears of moving West is being away from the ocean.
Years ago a little program revolutionized the music world. Its name was Napster. Napster wasn't the first way to find music on the internet. Usenet and IRC had been around for years. However, both of those solutions required a bit of tech-know-how to use and were not accessible to the mainstream user.

Case in point: Go search on YouTube for David Cook performing "Hello" by Lionel Richie, or "Eleanor Rigby" by the Beatles, or "Billy Jean" (the Chris Cornell arrangement) and tell me those aren't pretty great reinterpretations and performances. I don't see how you, as a musician and music lover, couldn't appreciate those as great live music performances.

It can actually be a very entertaining show to watch. My wife and I enjoy it.

I don't care so much about the forum cross-poillination (though it does really weaken, not strengthen the site), but seeing dozens of WC and Stardock help posts every day is just another example of the decline in usability since the transition.
