I cannot believe you bought into this "vista" junk. This is Me all over again. Get yourself a legitimate Windows XP 64-bit and customize at will. Soon the vendors will see the real money is with the developers and 64-bit is the best! "vista" is full of bells amd whistles intended for the mediocre user. Get a grip!!!!

Spoke too soon , I still cannot load wallpaper from the Browse in my desktop properties or from the WinStyles tab using the Theme Manager. It's like the wallpaper is locked; however, the wallpaper stays after logging off and on now.... Can anyone help me on this?

OK, here is what I did: I uninstalled WinStyles in the Stardock Browser, closed the Stardock Browser, opened the browser and went to the software section (I found Theme Manager had also been uninstalled), reinstalled WinStyles and Theme manager, Restart (x2 for update as well). It all works fine now!

Cannot load wallpaper.. in Stardock Software WinCustomize Forums

For some reason I cannot load wallpaper from Theme Manager, desktop properties or from the download site. I have not expeienced this problem in the past. I can load a new wallpaper by going to My Pictures and opening in fax viewer the right click and :set as desktop background (XP Pro) but then it doesn't stick when I log off and back on again. If it does stay there it seem immovable. Does anyone know if there is some checkbox I may have selected or unselected that woud cause this?
