Have a friend going into politics. His goal is to make it to the position of Sergeant of Arms of the House of Representatives. A gent whose sole duty, apparently, is to announce: "Mr. Speaker! The President of the United States!" Gotta love those government jobs...yeah...

OK, have received the info...but after looking at the install instructions, this isn't gonna be a 5-minute job. I'll have time to get set up tomorrow. To avoid holding up the whole game in the meantime, I've passed it on to Icho. I should be ready when it makes it back around the circle for Round 2. :)
Master Yoda.. have you seen how much Ben submits lately... Think you might be waiting a loooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggg time for this game to be finished...
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OK. So Quack, Piers and I are so lit we can't find the keyboard half the time. Ah still have a few Force powers here... "Ben, you aren't finishing enough games. You have to pick up the pace. We're at war here." Ben waves his hand in front of Jaws' eyes. Dull,

You can download the latest version of Stardock Central over at stardock.com. This will let you look up your serial number based on the email address and password you chose when you originally registered the game. For that matter, if you've lost your original CDs, you can even download the game from there. Political Machine hasn't been released in Beta yet; Stardock has just launched the site to coincide with the kickoff of the Presidential primaries. A beta will be available to drengin
Please clarify 1. Does that mean you wrote this at work? My place was at the location for circumstances in which they would go over to speculate on such matters that you would ask about this device of stagnation. If "yes" to #1 above, does the rotten president know you drink at work? She would be the one who knows the things that are unfamiliar to those that wonder about how it can be so often in such a state for this kind of coordination.
Ah. Well as long

Mr. Furious: Regarding Post #1593 above, I wish to register a complaint - in true diplomatic fashion. Being a North American resident, I read your post at a rather late hour in the evening. I am now going to LOSE a PERFECTLY GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP because I'll be TOO BUSY LAUGHING MY A** OFF to RELAX! This is a poor return on my kindnesses. When I eat meals heavy in cheeses and garlic, I have always used the public commode to spare your fragile sinuses. Likewise with my fo

Hey, y'all are still here! Sarcasto, give it a bit of time - several of the old-timers seem to be making a comeback. GROSS is on the move again thanks to a few vets returning, and PanGaea Cooperative's guys seem more active in the Forums lately. You guys had a small but lively crew. I'd be surprised if a couple of them didn't stop by from time to time. And there's always the possibility of new recruits if you're back with gusto... Samurai Ben, formerly Obi-Wan Kenobi

Um, Kit:
Some rotten president scheduled a 7pm meeting and I'm going to take it out on you Schweinhunde!
Please clarify: 1. Does that mean you wrote this at work? 2. If "yes" to #1 above, does the rotten president know you drink at work? Just checking! Consider this your GalCiv random drug test.
Thanks to those dropping in to offer congrats - we shall indeed par-tay! All invited! Drinks are on the Samurai!!
Umm...you DO mean that impostor Samurai Sam, don't you? (Ben quickly slips bartender Piers a fiver and a wink to "adjust" the tab - again)
Let me guess... a fee as "small" as your old Jedi bar tab?
Are you kidding? Coruscant beer is really pretty bad - stale Heineken and the like. Why do you think I always had Kit bring the booze? During a major sporting event, beer MUST be consumed, and whatever is on hand will have to do. But for day-to-day drinking, taste need not be sacrificed for expediency. Translation: The tab's pretty small, and I'm working on it in installments. [Message Edite
Its a great logo, what will it look like when shrunk down on the threads though?

probably awful
Here's a thought. Spellforce, any chance of using your newfound powers and influence to get Stardock to change the coding for posts to use the full-size Imperial logos - 32x32 pixels? It would only add 12 pixels to the height of the "ribbon bar," but it would make most of these a whole lot cleaner-looking. The ribbon bar still uses the full-size

Harumph! For an honorary Jedi not to even put up the link! You're lucky they're not talking war. "Welcome to the Metaverse, Diplomats. Surrender to the will of the Force at once or become one with it." ;) Seriously: - The graphics are fantastic; - The layout is intuitive and pretty consistent - nice job; - You may want to move the "Enter" text on the opening page higher on the screen. My laptop is running 1024x768, and I needed to scroll to see it; - Likewise, you m
We need a Imperial Logo that we can all put on our profiles like the Special Forces have (just check any of their profiles) We can't let them be the only ones with that!

Looks cool.
Thank you!
I like it, now who's good at arty type things
I know Kryo has a lot of graphics experience...or I might be willing to do it. For a small fee, of course...
Only thing that would worry me is that our esteemed Emperor happens to earn his living by creations of pen and keyboard!
Ah. An artist. We happily await reciprocal tales of great deeds and silly toe-stubbings.
As for picking on Sirian in the Jedi tale--looks like all done in good taste (and funny, too).
