I noticed the first item as well. Not sure why it doesn't show the AI's planets in the tradescreen. It should at a minimum show the AI planets which you already have visibility of.

Bought the Mercenaries DLC and the Precursor Worlds DLC yesterday, updated to 1.6 and played for a few hours. I think it's a major improvement and step forward for GC3! I was skeptical about the mercenaries but I think they add a very fun component to the game. Also I really like the Precursor worlds a lot. . . they add a lot of variety. So overall I think both DLC's are worth the money and I am pleased with them. The game is now much more fun and interes
Another possible fix is to have less credits at the start of the game. You can currently run in the red for quite a while before you run out of the current 5000 credits.
I think just making the colony module really massive and really expensive would do the trick. Being able to build colony ships more easily later in the game is fine. . . it would slow down the early planet-grabbing which I think is the major problem. One thing I always liked about Civ 5 was that when you build a "settler" (basically a colony ship), production in your city would halt. And the settler required pretty significant resources to make.
Or it could be accomplished with just nerfing colony ships. Making the colony module more massive, higher cost, less range, less speed, etc.
[quote who="bdtgazo" reply="31" id="3612647"] Hmm. I usually buy 1 factory for my home world, and then as many colony ships in a row as I can afford. I take the free colony ship with my first ideology points. So you should have 5 colonies pretty quickly. At that point really its game over. AI will never catch up. I use the trait that gives the first improvement for free, so each new colony gets a quick factory. After the fr
Is there a way to zoom out from the Tech Tree? Also can someone please explain the color scheme in the tech tree? It's super-hard right now to figure out which techs I've already researched and which I haven't. The colors are all over the place. Red, purple, dark, light, etc etc. Is there some method to this madness?
Totally agree. Being able to upgrade a ship while it is outside of a starbase, shipyard, or planet makes no sense to me.
Hey all, Just got Gal Civ 3 and played through the tutorial and I'm liking it a lot. I have played Gal Civ 2 and Civ V previously and I think is the best 4X yet and has a ton of potential. Anyway, I'd like to know if there's a way to prevent your ships from entering enemy territory when set to Auto Survey or Auto Scout? It's a bit annoying when they get attacked and destroyed for being deep in enemy territory. Thanks!
