This is simply wonderful to hear Jill. There are not many people who do this sort of thing anymore as they were when I was young. In fact in many places people generally ignore other in trouble or in need of help. It is sad but some will witness a crime like rape and walk away rather then help. This gives me hope that maybe things are changing again to where we all care about one another as it should be. I live in Las Vegas now and finding a friendly neighbor is not easy. I think Bosto

I thought about this for years now and wondered why there is not a massive move to reform our elections? Can anyone explain to me why this has been pretty much ignored? Should the electorial college be abolished? Should we get rid of the "winners take all concept"? Should we change how elections generate money for campaigns? Should all TV channels be forced to show political events for free or possibly anothe

Conservative? erm it is cool to be conservative but if you are one then why support this president? I am a fiscally responsible conservative and more of one then Bush has been. He is the biggest spender in the history of this country. He has done more harm then good for this country. Heck we are less safe anyone can easily see this then we were before 911. I say everyone needs to wake up and see reality. Draginol is a great writer n

Kerry smoked Bush it was a clean sweep.. Bush won you wish he did!! Care to make a bet on who is going to pull it out of his butt to win? I would be willing to bet $100.00 if your willing that Kerry will smoke those 2 loosers in office send Bush where he belongs back chopping wood in Texas where he has spent more time then any president in history. Heck the man was vacationing when he should have been paying attention to the threats being put on his desk. Further he should have paid attention to

O G San, That was one hell of a good article you wrote good job. I am a type of person who likes to speak his mind. I KNOW that the GOP supporters at this site probably really dislike me and my comments by now. (Especially Draginol ) It has nothing to do with anyone of the members here personally of course. I like to play Hardball politics hot and heavy. It seems t

Nice Comments Draginol.. If anything it was a tie because both made some dumb ass mistakes. I do not think it won Bush any points nor do I think it won or took away anything for Kerry. It most certainly did not seal the election for Bush. My main issue with Mr Bush is he has not said, look we made some mistakes, I am sorry, or we are sorry anything like that and I would support him in a heart beat. It would show real compassion and I am always touched by REAL compassion. I am not in ag

I know from spending about 8 months researching all his history. I also know from talking with my Brother who was in Vietnam who knew someone who knew Kerry. He was considered to be a great leader someone you could depend on. Most politicians are crooked look at how much money they spend to get in an office that will never return the monies spent. Why are you posting in political threads if you think that? Bush is the worst President in history just look at all the failures. Name on th

Messy Buu, regardless of what everyone is saying I am with you. I am a Christian myself and I feel the same way. Kerry is a good man I know very well I spent a lot of time researching his background to know. Especially tracking down the reasons why he did not vote on some bills. Solid reasons why every single time. The vote in Nov will set the policies in the US for the next 10-20 years. Bush is not leading us in the right direction. All he has is misleading statements the man is not able of spe

Man you are way off Edwards spanked him badly. What debate did you watch? Cheney almost choked and had a heart attack. He was good, much better then pathetic Bush was, but he did not stand up for anything. Sounds bites? The key thing was Edwards sticking up for the truth while Cheney kept trying to stick with discredting the DEM ticket. This was a classic case of a loosing team doing what

dabe I think this is a little rash of a statement but man do I agree with it. In the first place, they both could use pen and paper so what in the world are you referring to? I have watched the debates 3 times and no where did I see this happen. The whole problem with the GOP is they tend to do anything to get their guy elected even if it is wrong. GOP vote for the party rather then the person. I am proud to be an independent voter so I can vote my mind and not for any party. Bush has the best l

To put it as succinctly as I can we went into Iraq because after 9/11 we really could no longer to dicker around with outlaw regimes in that part of the world. Saddam had flouted the UN resolutions and cease fire terms for a decade and no one knew what the heck was going on in there. The UN gave Saddam one final chance to comply with his previous obligations and once again

It is not hard to understand as he is not changing his positions at all. He is trying to word it differently to state his position and gets himself into hot water with people who are into discrediting him. I find it hard to understand a man who has more bullcrap then I ever heard in my entire life. The debate proves how horrible Mr Bush is at being president he was a bumbling fool and that is me being nice! Kerry is a good man and w

First you must understand what jobs are being outsourced and for what reason. The good jobs are being sent overseas while the lower pay jobs remain. It is a simple fact that most anyone who understands the economy and the markets knows. Out sourcing is about greedy companies lobbying the president to support them. He in turns actually pays them to send the work overseas this is what has gone wrong with this country. Further mor

I did not read all of your post.. I can bet you did very little research for your article. (No insult intended) There is not one thing that happened in the US economy that hurt us greater then the stupid policies that this President has dished out. Our main problem with our economy is tax cuts, outsourcing of our jobs, and the war in Iraq. (There are a lot more things I could easily list) The attacks of 911 did hurt us but not as bad as the RIGHT makes out. No this election cycle the Republicans
