Imho GC3 has a serious memory leak. Usually when I play, I have no issues at all, but sometimes i keep the game running over night. And thats where the nightmares start to happen. It uses up pretty much all of my RAM when I come back to it. Moving the view around the map leads to serious stuttering, somtimes freezes. The AutoSave can pretty much kill all processes I have running, one time it did shutdown Youtube running on chrome, it usually always stops the actu

The AI is plain retarded and has serious issues - keeping up with the tech race - utilizing their planets - and defending their important planets I mean, there's no need for exploits.
Very good feedback.... :-) Hope the devs look into this thread
I have that too, and its occasional but noticeably often. I'm talking of the "out-of-range"-bug where all ships fly in circles and apparently do nothing until some magic trigger/fallback kicks in and they start fighting.
Yes, and while you're at it, add another tab for fleets. :P
Haha.. didnt get until now that you can convert constructors to colony ships... nice find. (albeit cheaty)
Same here, ended wars with UP resolution, it also says no wars can be declared for some time. But it passed and I declared war the next turn on some other race.
Space Monsters? Humans are already in.
Heya all, just chiming into this discussion. I play about every strategy game I can get into my hands, starting from Ascendancy back in 1995, Civ, Crusader Kings, EUIV, Endless Space, Endless Legend et al. You name it, I played it. What pretty much all these games have in common: At the start you have one city/planet and you want to e X pand. But you almost never know your surroundings, so you have to e X plore. Will the sweete
Well I dont mind them surrendering. But it should be with a warning. In my current game the map had lots of colors and from turn 250 to 300 it all went purple (YOR). That was no fun at all. They also didnt surrender to some ally or friendly partner, they all surrendered to the attacker (who was at war with about anyone except me at that point). Seriously, the losing AI should at least ask me, the player, OR their allies something along those lines:
This ruined my last game. We were 7 civilizations, several were at war with each other. One of the civs was under attack and I saw my chance to step in and take some planet. But some other race captured ONE of their 4 planets, and one round later they handed over their complete empire to them. They still had their homeworld. WTF? The same happened over the next 10 turns to other civs. In the end we had 4 colors on the map. Me (33% of galaxy), and the others
