Haven't seen anyone do this, not sure if there's a reason or not but it would be nice to get other peoples races 1) for different ideas/strategies and 2) to make a huge map with more races and not have to make 100 yourself.
Seen the same thing, I was under the impression as well that there are no tiles of that quality to terraform (its a 25+ class planet so most if not all tiles are there).
I made a bunch of races with all kinds of traits, but I don't remember most offhand. I do however have a snip of one i made that failed on first try and second try...and third ( thus i saved the image to get them right). I edited some text (leader name/planet name/ race name long/short, ship code, all icons/pictures/backgrounds). Star was Serene. When this was made steam cloud was enabled. In terms of galaxy settings

Yeah I was able to create some with trial and error. Basically would open the game up and try to create one with no changes, if it saved to the faction folder I would copy it and make my changes.

Not sure why is does or doesn't but I was able to save my first race, and it shows up in the factions folder, but i created another 3 and started + saved a game. Upon reopening the game they are gone. I tried again and this time had the factions folder opened, and they never get saved in there. If i copy the race that did save and save it it will make create another file, but if i edit over it and save it it will not. Any ideas/ anyone else seen th

In options there is a button called "input settings" or something which is all hotkeys (including ship designer)
After making a new game and setting everything up as random, is there a way to see what the randomization is?
