I fail to grasp how scattering the great W7/10 task bar to the far corners of the desktop accomplishes anything but making one perform more arm/wrist movements to reach what you need/want.
Microsoft has a problem in that the Windows OS is quite mature. It only really needs updates for bug and security fixes, etc., and that's stuff that everyone has come to expect for free.

You will need to change the skin in skinstudio to disable the blur effect. Refer screenshot below. Once the modification done. Please save skin and apply skin for the changes to take effect. <img style="cursor: pointer;" src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/0/0/281/2d2a4135-d4f7-45ae-8254-34

There's a previous thread about this, but the problem wasn't solved AFAICT. I'm seeing it now using Start11 2.03 and WindowBlinds 11. Transparency Effects are enabled in the OS. I need to bump this old thread. I'm having the same problem of not being able to make the taskbar transparent in Windows 11. It may just be a problem with settings, but so far I haven't found the right combination in the OS, Start11 and WindowBlinds to make it work. If someone who has it working could post a simple list of settings to toggle On or Off I would appreciate it. Thanks, and happy new year! 2nd Edit: The problem came back.

Those "new features" are so minor they justify neither a version change nor the price hike.
That's an assessment that every user gets to make. For instance, Microsoft Office 2021 is essentially the same as my 2013 version (for my purposes). Microsoft offers no upgrade path - it's full price every time, and not worth it to me. On the other hand new versions of Stardock apps are not just
