I noticed Airmaster had some collecting on Steam, but it wasn't enough and didn't feel like Star Trek to me. Unfort I pulled all those mods off. What we need is a complete package, that contain music themes, video animations, proper setups for each factions. Just like Q did to GCII, they did a great job on it and believe it is lost now. If possible someone put all this togethe
Elite founders got to pick star names as part of their $100 package. Led to a lot of ridiculousness and many disgruntled posts. Plentiful Steak and Red Skittles aren't exactly immersion boosting names. Nonetheless, the milk has been spilt and I doubt Stardock will ever change it, nor should they, as a promise is a promise- no matter how annoying.
&nbs
I personally like the idea of a founding-of-the-Federation style mod, as that feels more immersive with the style of game, whereby you start with one world and no techs and go out and expand and research more techs, thereby showing the passage of time. I used to love playing the Star Trek mod for Civ IV as you could play that in the same style.
http://www.nexusmods.com/galacticcivilizations3/mods/29/? The above link will take you to a mod that replaces the system names with (in my opinion) slightly better versions. I use it as I hate the default star names on GC3.
Unfortunately there is no current support on Steam for mods, only custom races, new ship designs and maps all of which are created in game.
Yeah Mel Brooks is funny, but this may not be 'kosher' for everyone... [e digicons]:-"[/e]
This is brilliant! I love how you've mentioned about the sleeper ships, as this opens up for an anomaly event in finding Ukaros ships with treasure. There's a bit near the beginning where you've put: ' If a citizen then serves with distinction they may marry into the family and join the in their prestige and prosperity.' I think the should be them . [e digicons];P[/e]
Love the Fallout 4 settlement, glad to see you put as much effort into building the settlement as you do into your shipsets! [e digicons][/e] Looking forward to seeing more of your GC3 mod though, especially curious to see if the Screelings begin emerging from their hiding place. Will this be by any chance a variation of one of the mega events? [e digicons];)[/e]
This is by the far the best mod for Galactic Civilizations III so far. I have even made a small mod to remove all the stock factions, and the Snathi, from the game and just leave the pirate faction, so that all the factions in my game only come from this mod! Would be great if you could start expanding this new universe out a bit, and start replacing the stock events in the game with ones that reflect the factions in this mod. I've started to play around with
I believe all of these mods are compatible with each other. But some may not yet be working for 1.4 of the game.
1.4? I thought we were still at 1.3 did I miss an update? Edit: Just saw the post you wrote about 1.4 and realised it's an opt in. Looks like I'll be 'opting in'!
I believe this is from the episode "In the Shadow of Z'ha'dum", which is the 16th episode of series 2.
