Believe me, Vista will be skinned. I know I cannot wait for a skinning application to be released!

Well, I cannot say I totally agree with the decisions of the judges, but these are all excellent skins, especially Vectra! Congratulations to all the winners!
Just out of curiosity though, what does 'next week' mean exactly? Can't you give us an exact date?
I was expecting this. I hope the extra time is used well. They have a tough job ahead of them for sure.
I think Elsius Saint is referring to Dexter's 'Aqualix' theme, not danilloOc's Acrylic theme, which is a nice theme but evidently did not make the cut in user votes. He must have just got the name worng is all.
Yes John! Vectra is definitely going to win this one for sure, I cannot imagine any of these other submissions even coming close to being 'The Best'!
Vectra Art of Glass is byt far the absolute best! WTG John!
Thanks Jafo... Just so everyone knows also, I did not enter the competition at all, so I have nothing to gain by commenting other than trying to improve it for next year. At least that is my intent. JafoNovember 2, 2006 09:17:03Reply #55 Surely someone
Zoomba and Frogboy, While I do not agree entirely with your comments, I respect them and the good intent of the GUI Competition in general. I just realy feel that the judges in these type of events should have a thorough working knowledge of SkinStudio, WB5 and an excellent knowledge of judging graphics quality, etc. before they should be considered qualified to be a judge. Or at least someone with these qualifications should go over each submission before they are allowed to be placed
FrogboyNovember 1, 2006 23:30:02Reply #31 LightStar, the judges don't read the comments. and I'm not a judge (unless one of the judges isn't able to vote). I have my opinion tastes and opinions. Why don't the judges read these comments? It would make mor sense if they did. Surely someone who cares reads them?
Yep, lets you vote over and over and never acknowledges your vote, big problem.
I normally do not post negative comments, but this definitiely needs to be said. First of all, your categories for any and all submissions in this competition are entirely too vague and need to be more specific as to exactly what is evaluated in each category, and all submissions evaluated accordingly. I also really think someone needs to stop this competition and pick new judges for evaluating WindowBlinds submissions. It is quite evident that the present ones need some refre
Yep, there were 51 entries the other day, but someone finally figured out that the latest entry was nothing more than a slightly modified version of a previous submission. The theme that was removed was titled TRANSGLOSS-ANIMATION, same as the TRANSGLOSS theme by Themerboy but just with animations added.
A very interesting read and after mulling through it all I must agree with Frogboy and take his stance. I also firmly believe that if you work for a company you should not be writing and evaluating about your own product. On the other hand, it is a sad state of affairs when things like this happen, and I for one am for the skinning community in general and say that regardless of whether or not you use Stardock, TGTSoft or any other companies products
hah! Good one Draginol! I know what you mean by the amount of emails!\
Just found out Paul, so welcome to 'sunny' Michigan and my home town. Glad to hear your in the neighborhood! That Christmas skin is fantastic! Keep up the excellent work and hope to stay in touch. Take care.
Shot! That's too kind! They ought to be drawn and quartered on national television and have their intestines hanging out for availability to the flies and maggots and be slowly eaten alive! Shot! HA! Way too quick! As far as rehabilitating them, that's not even an option. I work in the prison system, there is no such thing as 'rehabilitation', all they do is get out and commit another crime so they can come back in. Why not! After all, they do get free food, clothing, shelter, c
For goodness sake why bother! You can only look at one page at a time anyway. Seems an awful lot of effort was put into something that is cumbersome and would take someone with six eyes going different directions all at once just to surf the web.
