Hello, I could manage this. I've got the Desktop-Link (pattern) back, the link works perfect. There are a lot of steps to solve this problem, for example creating a nice icon. Start10 allows to create his Windows 10 individual. So, I think still it would be a good feature for Start10.

It would be nice, if it is possible to choice also "Start button shows Start10 menu" at "What should happen when you are in a Modern UI app?". What I mean is to have "Start10 menu" under the "Windows 10 full screen menu" (Settings/Personal/Start) without switching back to the desktop.
There are a lot of features in Start10 which i don't use. Where is the problem, if Start10 would support an other feature? I like the Windows 10 full screen menu and his tiles. Why I should not use a desktop-tile?

That is true, but I like and miss this old feature from Windows 8.1. I think this could be nice feature foe Start10. I've seen that also other people ask for this old feature (other forum in the web).
I'm using "Modern Style" and at "Control" I've activated "Start button shows the Windows 10 menu"/ "Windows key shows Start10 menu". At "Desktop" option, I've disabled "Show Win+X menu when right clicking ..." My system language is German. EDIT: correction

Hello, this problem wasn't fix with Start10 1.0. The WIN+X menu is always active and it's hard to open "Configure Start10" with right mouse click.
Hi, did you restart your PC after the installation? You could try to uninstall the Start10 and a new installation after a reboot.

I have problems to disable the win-x menu in the left corner (right mouse click) after activation. I want to try this option but I can't disable it anymore. Only a really small peak in the "Start" enables the right mouse click to the Start 10 Menu options.

Sometimes the left menu is closing themselve. I use the last version (trial) on a Windows 8 x64 system.
