During trinity their was an equal number of people willing to teach and people who wouldn't play with anyone without a record because of smurfing sadly. You might have had it in a fleet and not as the flagship. My ships do weird things sometimes when they are in fleets based on the fleet settings.

"I mean, for every 10 you lose, you get 1 back" Not true. Gambler's fallacy. Just because you have ten ships does not mean any will come back. Every ship is a coin toss independent of the others. Every ship that dies has a 10% chance of returning. Those are bad odds no matter how you look at it.

What you are asking for is more of a Bot to kill your enemy for you. Their are ways to let you focus different units, but the game will not do it for you. Micromanagement is the only real solution to your problem. Sorry i wasn't much help.

Go read the wiki and a few up to date guides. The TEC have different advantages than the others. Best ecnomy, cheap units, and flexible to name a few. Also Marza Dreadnought is nicknamed the "Fleet killer" and Sova rush is an easy way to win a game.

You do realize the Tech has to be the same in 80% if the research tree so the game works? They are there so the game is the same for each race.
