I'm not entirely sure how to respond, it seemed like a good post at the start but ended in horribly insulting towards the games designers. I'll break it down point by point for you so you might be able to understand. I will start by saying this, this game is designed in a way in which you have to do multiple things to win and not just play how you want to play. This doesn't make it unique in any sense. In every game, rts or otherwise you have to follow parti

I know didi was cheating, that isn't something up for discussion. He was, we talked about it together. But after being in the top 10, some players coming here and just accusing people because they got their asses kicked. I've smashed people and been called a cheater.. like fuck do I cheat. Some guy was like how do you have 500 power to my 80, i'm like.. dude it's a surveillance drone..

I actually was chatting to him about this before, (Didi) We were quite friendly at a point and when I was close to rank 10 we 1v1'd and he smashed me. I did think something was off as I'd never lost in such a manner before. Das has beaten me for example but only just. So it was strange for a rank 60 or whatever to smash me. Anyway we chatted after and he said he had a trainer. He did link me but I never wanted to use it. Though I did bring it up wi

I can't understand why it took 5 hours to work out how a faction works. You've played rts's before.. In t1 you have small short range fast fire drones, slow firing mid range, shield recharge, aa. t2 you have an anti building, anti swarm, area control and tank, also big mother of a truck which was recently added, can snipe into radar. Finding out how useful they are is something that you have to test. The unit descriptions ar

Yea I entirely get that, but this game isn't requiring high apm. In fact it's almost all micro and no macro. Micro refers to managing an economy and bases. Anything not to do with direct combat. Macro is the actions one takes during combat to ensure victory. Compared to almost all rts's this game has no macro play. I've come up with one thing that does qualify as macro but other than the Dread levelling there i

i think when you have several dreads getting the right army can be a pain. So having a hockey assigned to one of the three sections of the upgrade. ctrl. Q, w , e to apply? it's not exactly op to have a dread instant heal though, everyone has it and the chance to use it. The use of micro is entirely wrong though, this is just a simple action, let's not confuse this.. Any way simplfying it reduces any skill gap between players

One thing I don't think you really get. It entirely shows when reading your post regarding no two games the same. That's exactly what it'll be. I know exactly how a top tier phc player will play. So I play according. The same with substrate and they both require different actions. You take one of these factions away and you will get very very boring matches. From a game design standpoint, going away from micro and macro specifically. That means it'

Since I play in the top sector of the game in an whole heartedly say I lose more often to phc than substrate and i play sub. It's map dependent on how I have to play, each of us will be using our own gimmicks to distract and expand. i am not in favour of one race. It would make this game very boring and wouldn't even fix your own personal issues with the queues.

Talk of the player score, It's never really bothered me actually. Since it's not just military power but economic too, and things like archives add to it. So sometimes if I see multiple archives up but similar points I can jump straight into the lions den. Having said that, playing as a substrate player I get called a cheater every now and then from players who obviously haven't played substrate. Building 1 engineer and a factory gets you to 460+ points in 2

Oh I know, but then on large maps t1 units don't matter that much either. Each race has a way of smushing t1 units.. Larger maps should be a win for phc, I can't see how a good sub would be a good phc with larger maps. But in a 1v1 the maps aren't big enough for that many things to be going on.

I did, you can't beat hard. Therefore you aren't doing ok or just fine. You don't attempt to learn anything other than what you have been doing. You have little knowledge of the other races and you've been playing since trinity? Really? Those figures from multiplayer are examples of how you should be playing, we don't cheat. We just know how to play the game. Instead of bitching and moaning, how about you ask for help? Ask

Honestly im shocked no one here has said it directly. Though indirectly they have. youre exhibiting major lack of knowledge and understanding of the game, you don't know or Titan abilities and label something unknown as too strong or broken. Hard ai is so simple to beat it's unplayable in my opinion. now I don't expect you to be an expert but when you start bashing a game for whatever reason I do expect a little time put in to learning
