I too would like to see it separate as I don't want to play with music on but want to see the cinematic videos. I found a way around this, enable music but go to the music folder and delete all the ambient music etc .mp3's you don't want to hear , wouldn't be surprised if they would be reinstalled whenever game updates but seems to work fine so far.
