Looks like a bug carried over from LH. It "might" be tolerable in LH - it isn't in SK because when you lose a city it is wiped out, not just captured, losing all that city's progress and possibly the game as in scifi1950's example. This is a game critical bug.

I see now that other Sovs can only have 2 Enchanting Slots per item, so stacking mana berries doesn't work so efficiently for them. So I look at this as a Tinkerer strategy. Also, what does the Tinkerer skill that gives you an extra enchanting slot mean by +1 Defense for Armor and +1 Attack for weapons? Does it mean items crafted after getting the sov skill get these bonuses? Or each enchanted slot filled gives this bonuses (but only +Armor for Armor and only +At
I think recipes that require horses, crystal or iron can be used unlimited while you have enough (in other words, intended). But once you drop below the minimum amount, you need to find another source of that resource before you can make that recipe again.
1. One of the quests gives a Dead Rat. I don't know what it's supposed to be used for. 2. Another one (the one where you must clean out the "scroll reading enthusiasts") gave two of the same recipe. I'm not sure if that recipe I had before or not, but it gave two of the same recipe. 3. When you take on a quest and your entire army gets beaten, about 10 or 20 turns later you win the quest automatically and get the rewards even if you didn't beat the
It could be that it just shows the armor value for the entire set (for simplicity), but it still has all the individual pieces unlocked.
Are you meant to be able to open the gate with only one key? I'm very sure the other lieutenant was still alive, but it seems atm to require you to kill only one lieutenant to get through the gate.
When you talk to the guy Imperium wanted killed, and use the dialog options to get him to stop without killing him, you don't get another option when you visit Imperium. I think if you choose the option where you don't kill the guy, you should either NOT get +1 Cruelty, or get another more beneficial intrinsic instead. And of course there should be dialog options where you convince Imperium that the guy has agreed to stop going for the splitup of Imperium (if you chose tho
I'm not sure how the Potion Masters skill of the Tinkerer is supposed to work - I used Potions in battle and they were used up. I'm not sure what it means to "reuse the bottles" or whatever it says. You may want to check the skill that allows you to reuse the scrolls too to make sure that that works, I haven't tried that yet. Sometimes when talking to minor faction units you get the "Talk" cursor instead of the Arrow when the conversation screen comes up, and t
Guess what? As well as the new Frostling race and Necromancer class, the new expansion will have the Tigran race! See here: http://ageofwonders.com/forums/topic/dev-journal-tigrans-part-i/ Plus there are other features like Race Governance that gives bonuses for treating a race well, and other improvements. Race Governance, in particular, is going to be in a free patch released at
Windows 7 32-bit can't use as much of the 4GB RAM as Windows 7 64-bit. LH is still a 32-bit program, but has the Large Address Aware feature, which allows it to be able to use more memory, although not as much as a true 64-bit program. I have Windows 7 64-bit and 4 GB RAM and apart from the very largest maps (like in Xtra Deconstruct) with more than 1 or 2 players, or long games, I don't get out of memory errors or crashes.
I pay about $40AUD for about 100 GB a month, though there is a 250GB plan for the same price (I don't need it as I normally don't do very heavy downloading). Though there is an unlimited one for $50AUD a month.
Yes, I am positive it isn't Throw Boulder, because it uses the "Thud" sound that normally accompanies Crushing Blow, and it also says "Crushing Blow" and does a lot more damage than Throw Boulder too.
The only one I've got is from a heavily modded game (but I have got the bug on non-modded games too), to find it yourself all you need is a game where you have that Ogre camp that has an Ogre and/or Bone Ogre in it. Banished Ogres don't work because they don't have the Crushing Blow ability.
You can check it out easily, just attack an Ogre or a Bone Ogre, put your tank next to them, and have at least one other squishy target. They will target the squishy target, even if they are far away. It happens every time, it only requires one of your own units to be next to the Ogre or Bone Ogre that it DOESN'T want to attack, and a preferred target further away. It will act like Crushing Blow is a ranged attack and can attack any of your units.
So Stardock, can you implement something like this?
Some of the champions in champion camps still disappear when going into town. Of the ones I've tested, at least one was sitting on its camp, and most likely the other was too, but I'm not totally sure. Does each champion have its own camp? Or is it random when the heroes are placed on the camp (where they disappear in town) or next to the camp (when they go into town fine)?
Well, I don't visit the movies very much, but the last movie I saw was Pride, and I thought it was pretty good.
AFAIK, when the game ends, the game ends. I don't think there is an option to continue at the moment. But it would still be nice to have an official new mode, with a "Conquer All Wildlands" win type, and maybe "Complete All Quests", provided the Master Quest is not available.
Couldn't you make it so if two enemies ended up on the same square, then after all the AI turns have been calculated, initiate a fight? I guess there is the issue of what happens if three or more armies are on the same square. =) But I'm sure there is some way of working this issue out.
Not much time for questing in Sorcerer King. And sometimes I like playing a game when I'm up against a hostile environment and I build my cities, level-up my armies and not worry about any opposing players. Anyway, it shouldn't be too hard to make an option where if you set opponents to 0 you get a player vs. environment game.
Do you know how much bandwidth you can have per month on Dropbox? Anyway, I've copied my LHModsDir.7z file to my Dropbox directory. Now it just needs to upload it. EDIT: It's only uploading at under 100Kbytes/sec, so it may take 40 minutes or more.
What is a good site to upload a 226,000,000 Byte file? I could use my site I have already, but I would have to break it up into 50MB chunks and upload each separately as it doesn't let me upload more than a certain file size.
Is it only the last message that you need to look at? If so, it is: Debug Message: WARNING: Reading in a weapon with invalid weapon type Axe
Could there be an incompatibility with an existing Custom Sov?
I did successfully load the previous version of Xtra with an identical mods directory. In other words, apart from having the previous version of Xtra all the other files in my mods directory were the same. Do you know of any new stuff you've put in in the latest version that might cause a main menu load crash? I know it's not the .dxpack files, because I've tried without them too and it still crashes. EDIT: I tested the font interception issue from the li
