Hey folks, just a couple of questions about the Elemental Beta: 1) When will new pre-orderers be let into the beta? I pre-ordered during 1Z3, and I didn't receive any e-mails about downloading 1Z4 (I assume because it's still a part of Beta 1)... will I be able to participate in Beta 2, even though it's multiplayer only and predicted to last only two weeks? 2) Is there an estimate of how long 1Z4 is expected to last (i.e. how long until Beta 2 comes out)?<
I guess I just skimmed your post. I was just repeating you then. The only thing of his that I've ever read is Sandkings. and although that seems like it could make a fun strategy game I know it has nothing to do with elemental.
Oh ok, thanks for clarifying :) I'm almost a quarter into A Game of Thrones as we speak. I thought you may have been implying that George Martin should NOT b

I'm glad to see some fellow KQ fans here! I too loved all of Sierra's adventure games, particularly Quest for Glory and Gabriel Knight, with King's Quest being my overall favorite.

Just wondering if any Elemental/Stardock fans happen to also be King's Quest fans? I'm really looking forward to Elemental, and one of the first games that introduced me to both PC Gaming and the fantasy genre was King's Quest (King's Quest IV, to be exact). Anyone else out here with an appreciation for Sierra's classic series?

I was wondering what books, movies, and other games have inspired the development of Elemental. I know Master of Magic is a big one, and I read somewhere that the team was also inspired by George Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire. Are there any others that have especially influenced the various aspects of Elemental (the gameplay, story/world, art design, music, etc.)? I only recently pre-ordered my copy of Elemental, so now I must patiently wait to be let into the beta.&nbsp

I agree, the discussion in Tiny coincidences seemed a bit vague. Also confusing is that Michiel van den Bos is not listed for having done GalCiv 2's music. According to Mobygames, the music for that game was composed by Paul Kerchen, Mason Fischer, and Eric Heberling (see <a href="http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/galactic-civilizations-ii-dr

Hey fellow Elemental fans: I've been [silently] following Elemental for quite some time now, but I haven't come across any posts regarding the game's music. The few tracks I've heard thus far have been fantastic! (Check out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3KSDPO_BeY ) Besides the game itself, I'm really excited about the soundtrack now (i.e. I have another reason to look forward to the Collector'
