I won as Altarians on a large map through a Technological victory. It hasn't unlocked the achievements on Steam to win as Altarians and win a Technological victory. Yet during the same game it has unlocked destroy another faction and some others....have I missed an important step in the game? **EDIT: Achievements for winning Tech victory and Altarian victory unlocked a day later. Steam probs forgot its morning coffee.
Hi guys, been a while since I browsed the forums but had to share this amazing game: Won an influence game rather quickly on a medium sized map against all the civilizations playing as the Thalians. I didn't chose any influence techs until about half-way through the game. I build up basic facilities first, factories and research labs before increasing population. Not that it matters much, usually get thrown into a game long war against the Terrans, Alterians and Krynn.

Got GalCiv during early alpha but unfortunately have only been able to play when this latest update came out. Having a lot of fun so far, reminds me of the days of GalCiv 2! On a completely unrelated bug, I can no longer run GC3 (crashing on note from devs) so am unable to change the resolution :p
