To get around any problems with losing post material, I type it into Word first, then copy and paste it into the reply box. That's also why my posts are all in times new roman, because I use Word 2003. But anyway, yeah that must be pretty annoying. Oops, pretty much what Ryat said, but oh well.

Ryan’s ships arrived at their destination, a giant urban planet in the Mytivias system, which neighboured the Daros system. He turned his attention to the scan of the planet’s gravity well. There was a trade port with no activity around it, a badly damaged

Tbh I hadn't thought too much about the history. I never really thought past: big trade union kicks out psychic guys, gets attacked by aliens who are on the run from more aliens, then attacked by the psychic dudes who are back for revenge. (Yep, Sins in a nutshell [e digicons][/e] ) But all of the stuff about Evertha being Earth and all the politics is pretty interesting, even if it doesn't directly affect the DS sector. And finally, hope you join the story

Thenos regrouped with the rest of his squad at the edge of the hangar. The shuttles were sabotaged, they had killed the bridge crew and jammed communications, and they had set charges in a weak hull section. The ship would soon be space dust. Thenos had been told that he would

Behind closed eyelids, Thenos began to use one of the most challenging abilities of a telepath. To influence someone else’s mind was one thing, but to affect your own, to overcome your natural aversion to doing something potentially harmful to yourself, was

Is there anything already mapped as being in Mytivias? And is it neutral or controlled, and by whom? Because if there's nothing important there already, I'd like it to be neutral but ex Advent, and for it to be part of my next bit of story.

Thenos had a key problem. Population. He had designs for new ships, but not enough people to crew them. The population of the newly named Garran Collective was spread thinly across the three colonies they owned as it was. In an attempt to find a solution, Thenos had d

Character Profiles of Thenos and the High Psintegrat Thenos A 28 year old charismatic leader, who swiftly rose through the ranks of the Advent navy due to his immense psychic talent, soon becoming captain of a Radiance class battleship that would become known as the Revenge . He played a major part in consolidating the Advent's hold on their territory in Distant Stars
More precisely, the Advent of Distant Stars are the exiles OF the exiles of the Unity. While exponentially smaller in number than the main flock, there are still a lot of Advent. This is the same situation the Vasari are in.
Actually, only Thenos and his little band of followers are exiled from the Unity. The High Psintegrat and all of the other Advent in DS aren't exiles from the normal Advent. They are connected t

Continuing sort of on what Carbon said, while I've sort of fleshed out the Advent, it's not been very much. After all, my character's group is split off from the Unity, and is therefore a different faction to the other Advent. While I have introduced the High Psintegrat as the commander of all DS Advent forces, she is the antagonist for Thenos, and will probably wind up dead. So, even with me, it would be nice if there was someone writing for the normal Advent.

Thenos sat back in the passenger compartment of the shuttle that had collected him from the Revenge . He was being taken to the RFT Assailant , which would then take him to the second moon of Finley IV. With him was one of the hunchbacked combat drones that were use

That's a good idea. You'd sort of be the cartographer of our stories, but I think Carbon might also be doing something with a big Distant Stars map. I'm not sure, you'd have to ask him.

On the bridge of the Rapture , the High Psintegrat observed her fleet, full of confidence. The presence of the armada was like a vast sea of light, holding back the shadows of the unenlightened. There were almost 200 capital ships stationed at Kyrene III, and another 200 stationed here,

Flicking through the memories that Ryan had sent him, Thenos frowned. There had been four capital ships at the Finley star, but it wasn’t the number that caught Thenos’ attention. After all, Ryan hadn’t lost any ships; he’d just turned and ran. It was the markings on the capital ships that Thenos was interes

Can you hear me? Thenos was back in his patient’s mind. He felt a response. Not in words, as the crewmember’s mind was too weak for that. Just a general acknowledgement, like a psychic nod. <em

Thenos now leaned back in the captain’s chair. It was similar to the High Psintegrat’s one in her meditation chamber. Curved, flowing, in such a way that it seemed to be in motion. It was also shaped to give maximum comfort to those who sat in it, which Thenos considered to be the most important aspect of a chair. <p class="MsoNormal" style="m
