I have only had one problem and it was not with a dx gadget. My avast flagged adni18 Hyalo 2xWeather II but that is the only problem I have experience with avast. I am trying Microsoft Security Essentials now and have not had a problem with it. I may go back to avast because I seem to be having issues with sending zip files as email attachments with MSE. So the answer is no I have not experienced any problems with DesktopX using Avast or MSE.

Yes I agree would be neat if someone could put this in the dx weather widgets. I would say just to have the temperature fonts change color would be really cool.

When you say you can't uninstall it do you mean you can't by right clicking on it in the gadgets window? If not you can delete it by going to c:/users/yourname/appdata/local/microsoft/windows sidebar. You can delete it there and the gadget cache is also located there. Delete the contents of the cache folder and delete the gadget. Then reinstall and see if that does the trick for you. I also forgot to ask if your running 64 bit? Some gadgets have comaptabilit

Darco you should not have any problems with the 3.44 version. That is stable and I have been using it for months now. I would suggest doing an uninstall and deleteing any left over files you can find. Then reinstall 3.44. I do not think that will help with the weather problem though. I think the metadata has changed. I read somewhere about making a change to the url that I posted but cannot find it. I think it had to do with just insirting html in the code but so far my efforts have been

Uvah the WB is Ankh from mycolors. The fonts are kohelet. I used them for the rainmeter skin I have been working on which the clock is part of it. Now I am working on a new sysmetrix skin and getting the weather parsing errors again. Any idea how to fix that?

I have noticed recently uploaded sysmetix skins with working weather but I am getting the parsing error for any location. I am using the latest version of sysmetrix. Does the url need to be changed from this http://weather.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/mgetmetar.pl?cccc=[METARCODE ] to something else?

Not sure it is a lock dragging problem. When I have locked dragging checked I cannot remove them from the dock at all. Have you tried to unload ObjectDock and then restart it? Does it do it with all your docks?

Well I was just paid DA a visit and sure enough a message he placed on one of my submissions I can't repeat here. So I decided to get rid of him or her (profile says 42 year old woman but means nothing) by deleting my account there. No more DA for me.
