Frankief how is what Tom said misleading? He says it is a Microsoft update and you say it is a Stardock update. How is one anymore misleading then the other? Actually there has been more then Tom that has said it was a Microsoft update including myself but I can only base that on my own personal experience. I had no text, installed Microsoft updates and voila! Text appeared. I agree it is not a big deal so our comments should reflect that as well.
Ok I can now verify that it is the OEM versions that are not affected like Uvah has said. I have a Acer OEM and done windows updates, installed service pack 1 and updated Impulse. No updates gave me the text. I would still like to know what caused it on my other computer though.
I have complete control over my Windows updates and install them at my convenience and not MS'S. There were no Windows updates installed on the day the text appeared, Just the updates through Impulse.
I am not disagreeing with you. I am just saying I know it was not impulse for me. What I am doing now is installing updates on my other desktop. prior to the updates I had no text. I will let you know what happens once the updates are
I can't say for sure what triggered mine but I do know that it happened within the last week and I have not even opened impulse for about a month. That makes me think it happened after a Microsoft update because I recently installed new updates. I am running 7600 build 64bit and I have not installed service pack 1 yet.
A mod I made of a wallpaper found on wallbase. It had the quote "Do or do not, there is no try" on it but I do not think Gandalf said that so I changed it and recolored the original black and white. Sysmetrix is one I made to go with this.
Thanks everyone. I have already made some lifestyle changes so I should be good to go.
Have a good one Wiz.
"Okay, I'll bite. What is it? Cool desktop." The rainmeter skin can be found in the rainmeter section. It is called seclorum. I had to put some time into making it look that way. WB is Eclipes.
Thanks a lot Philly. I am looking for something more on the live side such as hockey and just about any sports but I also like science and documentaries. I like the discovery channel, history television, national geographic or anything informative. I will take a look at the links you posted though. I checked your link for hulu but unfortunately it told me streaming was only available within the US.
I have been trying to find a good site for streaming live TV. I am not looking for recorded stuff and I do not mind paying for it. My cable is not the best and though I am not a huge TV fanatic there are a couple of channels I would like to be able to watch from time to time. Any suggestions?
"If you go to the home page and subscribe to the newsletter, (bottom left) they notify you about updates for their software." That is OK if you want to be notified by email but I get enough emails now and I certainly do not want the news letter. No no not me I just have the program tell me when an update is available.
Cyrus you will love it here. I have been here only a couple of years and I can say this great group of people are my second family. You will never find a more dedicated group of people on any other site more willing to help you then here at wincustomize. Welcome my friend
Thanks a lot Karen and way to go with the weight loss. Thank you too navigatsio. No need to apologize for knocking the puffers. I use to smoke but gave it up cold turkey 20 years ago.
"Doc, I haven't run the prog for a few days, I received the update notification by email directly from Piriform." That is strange. Like the Doc. says I get asked for updates if there are new ones when I run the program. I never get anything in my email. Must be the way you chose to have update notifications sent to you.
If I am understanding you properly you can place a shortcut on your desktop by going to All Programs/Accessories and then send Run to your desktop. The other mentioned ideas work too but I use Frankief's method.
Everyone here wrote some good advice. I especially thank you natsa2 for the first hand account of using pills. From the sounds of things I better stay away from them. I do not need or want any harmful side effects. Also congratulations is due for those who have lost weight. I know I can if I want to bad enough. I would like to lose 30 pounds. I am 6'1" and weigh 240. I am also stocky so the weight does not show as much on me as it would someone else but I can feel it sometimes when I
Just curious if anyone has ever had any experience using this way of losing weight or is it just wishful thinking? I am not a big eater and I try to watch the types of food I eat but regardless I have got a little big around the mid section withing the last 10 years. Maybe it is an age thing or one too many cold ones or both but now I am wanting to get rid of the excess weight. I know you will probably say exercise is the best solution and I agree. In fact in my 20's I use to be a runner. The

In order to use this feature you must first activate your WinCustomize Personal Page. To activate your WinCustomize Personal Page visit "Personal Site" tab in your settings. Once you have created your personal page you will then be able t
I personally have never had any problems with seagate I have found them to be reliable but there are other good ones out there such as WD externals. I use this expansion drive just because it comes in up to 1.5 TB and it is very small. You don't even notice it on your desk. http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/products/external/expansion/expansion_portable/ The 1.5 is expensive but I bought mine on sale
I agree Po. I may not renew my subscription if active moderation does not improve.
I can confirm my video driver is up to date.
