Tools>Internet>Server(US2) Make sure to have "Show Pre-release versions" checked in. That's where the Beta 5 should be. 0.97[b].001 is it if I'm not mistaken.
The graphics for transports are now disappearing randomly just a fyi. Keep up the good work!

Your ship every 48 turns (1 year) should come up with a new design provided you researched some techs for your ship (Lasers,Missiles,Mass Drivers, Miniaturization etc..) and then it will be the ship name.... like Defender M1 If you select that ship in the shipyard and then click "Focus" you can move the sliders to focus on the weapon types/defense types and so on and the ship will appropriately have that % of equipment. Dodo, try switching the servers? I know a certain beta only appeared on one and not the other so... you might be able to get the beta that has come before the update (the one they will "fix" tomorrow will be new I think)

I'm hoping that unique techs are harder to get and that we also get in the colony screen a new tab "Foreign Improvements"
Funny I was thinking the same thing (sort of) sort of like Star Trek Bridge Commander though but more dynamic and more possibilities/ways of doing things so you could truely emulate a Commander on different levels of standard, Average,Regular,Hero (just sort of ratings which wouldn't exist but essentially in this mode I would imagine a whole field of things you could personally figure out in which to become an amazing ship captain/admiral).

I'm not sure if this was mentioned before or not, but I think that there should be an option for people who do *not* want to steal/trade or have any foreign technologies (specific to any race). Or perhaps in the buildings section have it so the foreign buildings has a tab of it's own so when we wish to build buildings quickly we don't have to scroll down all the alien buildings as a result of their techs.

That's a nice start I have a few questions Is the empire based on a certain style of play evil/good? Is there any stories I've missed regarding the empire? How did this empire become as it is top of the alta meta etcetera? How did the empire start? Where did the concept of "Kzinti" come from? Subway or quiznos? Anything else to help me understand the empire and grow with it would be wonderful!

Recently I joined the Kzinti Empire with my new character which I will attempt to play regularily with. Does Kzinti have a thread or forum of it's own?

Later release. Some folks could pre-order it if they wanted to give it as a christmas gift after all it requires GC2 and DA?
