Nov. 10th, 9PM EST. Mohammed Abadul-Raouf Qudwa Arafat Al-Husseini, more popularly known as Yassir Arafat, left this Earthly realm due to complications from liver and kidney failure. Upon arrival in Heaven, Arafat was somewhat shaken to discover St.Peter, the Jewish convert that preached the teachings of Christ, awaiting him at a large gated structure. Arafat was overheard muttering "Allah?" before realizing all those people the Fatah guerrilla movement blew up really were Gods children.
Ack! Pee in the ice cream? No bueno mi amigo! You should see the minds Ive corrupted by pimping out Stardocks toys... so many wasted hours of fun, so many kittens stuck in trees, never to be saved.
Old news. Nice editing on that. Seen it, done it, seen the facts that destroy it. Do some Google work on it, you'll see its nonsense.
I tell my wife whenever we seperate. Which isn't often. She goes to the store, I stop what Im doing to tell her I love her. I also tell her throughout the day, usually mingled in with my superior brand of compliments. Some of my more famous ones include "Babe, you're better than carpet!" and "I could have married a supermodel, but I chose you!". They may seem...strange at first, but think on them. I do value my wife more than any supermodel. Her beauty, her wisdom, her charm. She is th
A few things about Konfabulator have grown on me. Things that attribute to the quality and creativity of Konfabulator widget makers. First is the widget fnorder. Its a widget that delivers messages from "your secret masters" Things like "The button from the North Pole will go to Dallas" and A chicken from Mars tickles the siamese kitten". Things you'll only understand if you work for the Secret Masters. The other widget I like is "Where is it". Pretty much the ultimate search tool, it a
Ok, I know I'm not supposed to name other bloggers in my entries, but I hope we can make an exception here. Brad, as CEO of Stardock and the driving force behind the goodness of Joe User, deserves a little jab once in awhile to keep him on his feet. Besides, I like the guy, even if HE IS THE DEVIL! Well, not the Biblical Satan intent on the downfall of man. More like Old Saint Nick, waiting to tempt you with your greatest desire at every turn. Brad does that, the tempting thing,
Windowblinds border transparency. Thats it. Thats HUGE. If it happens. Even a seperate version of Windowblinds, out of the main roadmap, would be HUGE.
Why should I? I know Albert Gonzales - Im a Texan, and I've seen him moving in the halls of political power for awhile now. The key is that when doing his research, bleeding could have been objective, pointing out that the bribes he writes of are alleged, and that none of what he has written is proven. He could have pointed out some of Gonzales's rulings, which are fair But hell no, that couldn't happen. Instead we got a SMEAR JOB. So bleeding doesnt really give a damn about the facts.
Waits patiently for further smearing of Powell, Rice and Martinez.
SMEEEEEAAAAAAAR
Good question. I'll give you my perspective and you can take it for what it is. I was raised solid Christian in a Protestant (re: non-Catholic Christian) church. I believed in the teachings of love and the morality, but I also questioned many of the "rules" that were imposed upon my life. Some of the teachings, like creationism, just didn't jive with what real world facts laid out. The more I questioned, the less answers people had, and more than a few times I heard "Well thats just how it
Just call me zombie if you like. I see your point. I just think that realistically, the religious right has far less power than people are giving them credit for. The issue of gay marriage isnt actually about gays in this past election cycle. It's actually about the definition of marriage. Many married couples want marriage defined as between a woman and a man. Many married couples backing this definition are also supporters of civil unions for homosexuals, a completely different issue
Actually, 17" LCD's go for about double that to be fair $250-$350), prices have dropped alot the past 9 months.
So youre saying that a ViewSonic G220FB for $470 will be outperformed by 19" ViewSonic VG900 for $530? Just curious!?
I can't justify spending cash on an LCD when you can acquire a better CRT for 1/2 the price. Response time, color and other criteria on LCD's are still a little behind CRTS. But they are nice to look at in the home.
People listen to David Duke, that doesn't make me think that he will influence American policy. I think you're kinda jumping the gun here and stirring up things that aren't really that big.
Falwell, for all his intent, does not speak for Republicans or the Republican party. He can create all the movements and commitees he likes, it doesn't change the fact that many of us conservatives view him as a nut. I could start a national organization proclaiming me the head of internet based values: that doesn't make it so. So let him do his craziness, just don't blanket the rest of Republicans as his misguided sheep. And I promise I wont label liberals as followers of Davi
She left out the part of her moaning and crying. You know, like she always does over size.
The rings are only a few hundred meters thick (100-300m). That razor thin edge you 'see' is a trick of the massive scale...
It's always crazy day around here... no sanity for my wife! None for you!
I'm restless today. No idea why, maybe it's some of the flu medicine still in my system, maybe I've spent too much time inside my house. I don't know. I'm pacing alot, going back and forth, forgetting what I was doing then starting something else. I've tried to sit down and write some insightful articles about Stardock, the oil peak and other things jumping around in my head, but they've all ended in failure - I can't write without rambling on and on and on. See what I mean? <br
Good question, something Ive been thinking about writing a blog entry about.

citahellion: This is not directed at you, but more of a general warning for everyone (since we're all computer users). It sounds like you can get a discount through your job on a solid power supply, but I dont want other people thinking good PSU's cost around $50! So here's the warning: A good power supply shouldn't be cheap... $50 indicates somebody is cutting corners somewhere (unless you get a discount at a computer store because you work there!)! Many $50 power supplies are rated at
