Nor I ...I just installed OD+, after waiting a couple of years or more...and am experiencing rising blood pressure, numbness in the extremities and general cofusion. I'm running it with 2 docks, runs and works great...but..how do I get the themes, etc, I've unzipped, copied to OD+ Programs folder, to be recognized(<img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Mad.gif" b

Sign me up (!) if... ...it's anything like Maximum PC which is about the only subscription I usually keep paid up. Great Idea for US, out here in user-land...sounds like a lot of management headaches for the Editor-to-be and Staff, tho...just something about the feel of glossy, expe
WinCustomize Magazine!? Where?. I'm going to look...
#202 AMEN. Thanks, everyone at Stardock and WC. Enuff, already...can we get on with it? (see WB 5 thread )
*RE:#76 > Thanks!* Dunno what happened: I wrote a post here, clicked on submit, and was bumped to the "unsubscribers" area. Guess I'd better go outside and check on the local collective reality. Maybe the extra bandwidth will help you folks...[ "break 10 min. every hour of monitor-time"? My uptime says "03:53:50"...all here ]
As a parent of an 8-yr-old Cub Scout, and a 10-yr-old Junior Girl Scout, who have their own logins and appropriate access, THANKS for this thread.
Was imagining "worst-case-scenario" come NOV 1st [What?! Do without my daily visit to WC?!?] Thanks, everyone who consolidated the new system. So far, It's great. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/
Double-Post Had to say, the "Wait" popup while loading, and the Shut-Down dialog-box, and the glass hover-effect on the Start Menu are all marks of the best. A keeper. 10/10 !!
Thanks, Mike! Especially like the wall, looks like outside the window here in eastern Idaho! Munching the kids' candy and d/l-ing the suite now... [oh, yeah, as a carpenter, if I hang a door for someone, even friends, I get paid...usually. Just a 2-cents] <img src="http://images.
#96 says it for me, too.
Heike Cooper: So glad to see your post! I, too, have a Radeon 7000, and that fact has kept me from attempting the upgrade. So...after a good night's rest and all the food groups tomorrow a.m., I guess I'll go for it. I saved all the skins folders to my Desktop first. </
I use sysmetrix, and it works pretty well: (1) Run sysm. on the desktop; (2) Right-click sysm. anywhere on it;(3) Click on 2nd option down:"Configure Sysmetrix"; (4) From the list on the left of the now-open config-box, click Interactive Buttons, then "Add"; (5) In upper-right corner, open drop-down menu and scroll down to "Desktop, Toggle Icons". Click. Now you should have a button in the upper-left corner of the skin on the desktop. [[More likely, you won't have a button unless
I have the same problem. *lurk mode* <
I do hope this can be handled well because I love coming to this site and I can't imagine a future without WC as a part of my daily routine. Well said, Apprentice f0r3. I, too, visit on a daily basis, and dl a large amount from not only WC but other sites as well.I hope to see WC alive and well far
Yes! Great Work! WC is a daily fix for us. [whew!].
The best advice is no matter what type of email you get, never click on a link. Even if you think you can trust them. Open up another browser window and go to the site directly and check your account. This will always save you a lot of headaches Thanks! I can't be reminded of this enough, and still
Thanks for the info. Also all the footwork to research this.
Our blessings and prayers to everyone affected by the disaster. I traveled thru Chitral, Dir, Swat and more in 1967-68, on foot; Safe and Welcome everywhere ! May it be so, soon again.
Just found this thread. Exactly my problem, too. My Sysmetrix Configuration interface shows two IP addresses to choose from: one is loopback, and the other is my DSL router/wireless gateway. Neither will show any activity on any of scores of Sysmetrix skins. I'm using V.3.4.0 from Xymantix' site. It USED to work 'til recently...now no TCP/IP IN or OUT. I miss this feature. I used it a lot. Have sent email to N. Decker today, and hope to hear back. I ca

Best of luck, everyone. Thanks for all the years and gifts, many more to come! Exited about the move; best wishes for all the comforts of home at the new site. You're amazing and one-of-a-kind.
Nikos! This has always had a place on our wall in a quiet corner. Kind of says it all, hmm? Peace and joy to you, my friend. Thanks for sharing your gift with us.
Thanks, everyone, I haven't had such a fun read in quite a while It looks to me like the picture really pushed some buttons...way to hang in there
Paul- Thank You so much for taking the time to share your experience and talent with us. I have been downloading from wincustomize and others for years, always wanting to return the great favors from all of you creative souls. I just bought a Wacom and some software and have been trying to get started, and just serendipitously (!?!) connected with this tutorial. I am in awe. It's not only what I've been looking for, but tenfold. The background dialog i
Amazing! Thanks for the heads-up. Haven't used Google all that much, but THIS is something else!
