OK I failed on GSB... I will buy it from Impulse for my Christmas present. However, let this be a lesson that you aren't advertising the right games to me. ;) Also, more practical free software would be awesome. All you need are a few must have apps and people will download impulse just to have them through word of mouth.

Yeah, shadow swap is slow and short ranged. Sure it can be used for ganking, but at that range you'd have been ganked anyways in a 2 on 1. What is more scary is realizing you can never get away from a warp strike if you engage him and have to flee. Once he is on your ass you are dead because you will never clear the range if he chases you. He's a little weak and mana hungry. I don't see him standing up to most builds in a 1on1 fight without being crippled himself, but he

Well, I see that 1.2 forces you to take Shamblers IV to keep stats on par with what they were previously. (well, OK they are slightly higher... and I mean slightly) Before 1.2 you could forgo Shamblers IV as a waste of a skill point and put it somewhere useful. This will hardly encourage me to use Shambler builds when previously I was only doing it for fun. I am thinking that Spike / Shield / Wave /Morale + Idols is still the only viable QoT build looking at the paper cha
I too don't see how this is in anyway an over-buff. She's functional now. Very enjoyable to play. Imho, of course.
:D I think you have missed the sarcasm. She is not more playable with shamblers now, she is far worse off trying a shambler build.

There is good stuff in there. Please keep it up! Comments: (I'll probably have more to say as I read, absorb and understand the implications) 1) I noticed you used Dawn of War II as an example of being locked out of a game by SteamWorks. Please consider that yes, I did buy this game, but only because I really wanted it. However, I normally avoid Steam and Games for Windows like the plague. Please do not consider using the same tactics with Impulse... it's a step i

The health regen is a nice bonus, but I buy them for the dammage and the crit. The crit can take a surprise chunk of health and cause the enemy to reevaluate the outcome of a fight. If he starts to run, this is good, because it means you aren't taking any more damage and can stay in play after you've driven him off.

I play her, she is fine using the shield/spike/wave/morale builds with idols. Her minions could use some pathing work, they seem weak most of the time because they are not attacking but instead tripping over everything. (smaller footprint, better turning, and better angle of tolerance to start an attack). Then we could judge if they need to be buffed or not. Shamblers IV needs to be re-evaluated.

You don't really have enough mana at level 7 to take Shield III (I think this is what you mean, even though it says Shield II) to face most good builds... you are going to run out of mana and get kicked out of the lane. You should consider taking siege idols, and taking a point of morale at 7. Then get shield III when you have more mama items. Then take Shield IV at 11 instead of 10. Vlemish + Plenor = 42 mana regen at the level when you can usually afford

I am a full supporter of early game gadgets for the surprise kill. (levels 1-3). It's not about the gold, it's about the lane control you get by a kill. Synopisis: Gadget works sorta like TB's fireball... if you are in range, casting begins... it will be a hit no matter how far the enemy runs after that. What usually happens is my enemy realizes he is in a losing battle and runs to the safety of his towers. I will pursue and damage, If he gets below 650, he is dead. I will cas

As for the OP... agreed.... I have never experienced this kind of official communication since the cavedog days of Total Annihilation. I want to reward Star Dock to given incentive to continue this behavior. As for Dow2... The new balance pretty much makes a completey different game, and there will be serious balance issues again. eg: I play 'nids as HT in Dow2... I can tell you that the changes break Orkz vs Hive Tyrant very very badly at "I know how to play" gameplay levels.

One thing to make a note of, if you are using XP, the native refresh rate is usually set to 60Mhz if you switch resolutions if you have not set that in your display properties. So... if you pick that resolution in game but choose a higher refresh rate, you can experience tearing. Not sure of your situation, but one thing you can try is... when you are at your dekstop, change to the resoultion you play DG at and pick set the monitor refresh rate in advanced properties. Make sure it mat

This thread is in the wrong forum. QoT is fine. QoT has the most staying power in the game when played right (as in using shield right keeps you from having to leave the lane). Shield is proactive. (As in you and your team-mates can have shield on going into battle, which will usually turn the outcome of the battle every single time). QoT can do insane damage with the proper build. eg: Max shield, G spike, S wave, morale and have all 3 minion idols. Please n
Are you oblivious to what that term means in video game jargon or just pretending to be?
It is inevitable, anything that can be construed sexually will be. :) Though I am wondering if the originators did this intentionally to easily identify and thus weed out the rabble. Average deaths/kills in the first 15 minutes of all games would tell you everything you need to know. Stats be damned.

New content is always great! For certain this kind of commitment makes me want to continue giving my business to the companies responsible. Thanks! You rock Star Dock! Which means Frogboy also rocks by default. :D As for ban lists, I think the best way is a simple "/ban username" like squelchThe ban list should also be a text file so you can simply add the username into it manually while offline etc... For consensus of ranked games... please just track all stats separately. Wo

LOL Obscenitor, I've played enough Pantheon games with you to know that shouting "Here is a friendly hint to avoid dying, stop standing on the FUCKING fire!" is mostly pointless to my teammates who end up in that situation in the first place. That's not to say you aren't a really good Fire TB (best I've played so far in Pantheon)... but playing TB on forces of light in Pantheon by exploiting a UI bug is cheatXoring.... a little. ;) So here is a set of questions I h

It's the butterfly effect of certain individuals. Take this survey, and figure out what is going to happen. I) You are level 2 Erebus on Cataract Dominate. A level 3 Sedna and Oak are moving into your lane. Your partner, a UB, is on the other side of the map. You should. a] Withdraw, and notify your teamate 2on1 b] Withdraw and say nothing c] Walk up to Sedna, snack her once, turn into mist... AND THEN FUCKING DIE! II) You are a level 3

The only stats that should be shown are average deaths and average kills in the 1st 15 minutes of a game (this would tell you everything about your teamates) and possibly average favor per game. Since I know you won't do this.... ;) Stats should be split apart for skirmish/pantheon There are many Pantheon only players that are much better than their stats show simply because they are Pantheon only players. Having said that... Want

I play QoT the most. Shamblers are the worst minion in the game. (You can argue for Yetis I guess) Trying Spike +Shield + Shamblers is more bad, as you will never have enough mana to be effective against someone who is good. If you want to use shamblers, try staying in closed mode the entire game and concentrating on life and speed + have basic mana regen to use shields so you have staying power. Shamblers IV is a waste of a point. If you lose 4 shamblers at once,

Heh, yeah Foreshadowed goes a little overboard sometimes... but he is usually right and is a good player. If you can ignore the UR BAD signature remarks, you can glean useful information from him. Where he fails is treating new people... I'm not saying put the kid golves on, but he needs to be a little bit more constructive. Maybe one day he'll start doing the combo of being a dick while teaching at the same time instead of just being a dick.
