Thank you sir, I shall look into it, I've just never noticed an anti alias option for a lot of the tools, but that's not to say it's not there. I must say I'm a little disappointed that I will not be able to include that lovely colour into my upcoming "Miss Cleo" themeset though. "Da cards, dem neva lie." Miss Cleo, 2001.

I'm still pretty much a beginner at skinning, and one thing had been giving me trouble in particular. When making WindowBlinds skins, the transparency is that god awful pink colour, which is fair enough, as it prevents anyone from exposing my delicate eyes to it in an actual skin. The problem comes in that when I do stuff in photoshop, it tends to anti-alias into the pink, and I end up with pink edges around my work where this has happened. I think I mentioned this in another thread, and it still seems like a good idea on the whole. I assume that a large percentage of the people here have the full OD suite, so why not allow artists to release things in packs, or collaborate with other artists to release packs, that way, we could have a single XP ObjectBar pack with all 30 colours in, or a total XP pack with wallpaper, OB, WB, DX, whatever. This would certainly cut down on the crap, and just as a note to Jafo and Nuvem, your theory
Yes, that was the plan with XP all along. I remember reading when the first beta was released that it was a "fully skinnable OS", but so people didn't make skins that would presumably cause problems for the OS, Microsoft would be the only maker of these skins, because as we all know, when it comes to writing flawless software, MS is infallible

Also a word of warning if you're new to Photoshop. Myself, along with 99% of anyone else that's ever learned photoshop initially gets so caught up in playing with filters that it takes forever to get around to actually learning Photoshop itself. Filters are a great tool if not abused, but most of the great effects you see are achieved without the use of filters through techniques such as blending and masking. Not only that, but most of the worthwhile filters (KPT, Eyecandy etc) are kind of price
Maybe one solution that would fix all this is an "XP" section of the site where all things XP reside. I'm not a huge fan of the XP design in general, it's too chunky, but a lot of people do like it. The problem for me comes when I go to look through a section, and citing ObjectBar as the worst, there's NOTHING but XP skins which are all identical apart from colour. I don't mean to disrespect the authors, as I'm all too aware of the amount of work it takes to put a skin together, but themes that
