I read somewhere that around 85% of steam customer base is counter-strike, and these people have only bought that one game and no other. Considering how popular CS is world wide and it requires steam, its easy to see it skews the data favoring steam tremendously. Still Steam has a huge selection of games. Ok heres the thing out of all the games I have played online i would say 4/5 of them so far could have been a lot more fun had the people acted more mature and not negatively affected the atmosphere of the game. I play this game for fun, to relax, not to kick someone's ass, make someone rage quit, bring someone down, "own them", whine every mine in ALL chat, go OMG WTF BS everytime i die, say the game is imbalanced, never give credit to the opposing players, tell everyone my teammate

it does cerulean, mayby you dont realize it because you have a strongbackground in these types of games but anyone new to the genre, its very overwhelming especially no setup time, people playing the first few times dont even get a chance to read their skills let alone discover what items, upgrades and flags are where a mission with tooltips or help bubbles would be great for beginners.

heres the thing, you guys are too focused on demigod vs demigod damage, in which ooze is ok, because its DOT isnt that great against a demigod but its debuff is. But lets say they have creeps, even 1 point in ooze is good, you can just walk past the creeps and ooze kills em at higher levels. When you are fighting a demigod and they are surrounded by creeps/minions ooze helps a ton try getting 1 point in plague and atleast 1 point in ooze, you will
transitive good strat, but you get ooze AND venom spit right ? plague isnt as good as ooze, its damage over 30 seconds, ooze is very powerful against creeps and you can pretty much mow down an entire creep wave without loosing any healh

Gamespot review was so biased to the connectivity issues. They NEVER let those issues influence their review scores in the past, take a look at Age Of Conan, World Of Warcraft, Empire: Total War.. all these games had nasty problems with multiplayer which persisted from hours to days after release. thank you very much for your fast response kyro. As you said, i gave the game a few minutes and it has loaded now. It asked for an update but since the servers are down i cancelled it and am enjoying single player right now. I bought this from gamestop so i'll wait till the official servers are up, besides i need the practice anyways. Game runs smooth like a charm on my computer. I feel a little overwhelmed with all the stuff going on, a tutorial would have help
Has anyone been having this problem? I just installed the game, got past the introduction and the game has a black screen at the menu. I can move the ingame mouse pointer around but even that freezes. Demigod isnt using up a lot of ram at that time, mayby 90k ish making me think its crashing before loading. I have tried restarting pc, restarting the game, closing all background applications etc, but problem still persists. All other games run fine on my system, its a newly formatted p
...I spent an hour or two reading previews, watching videos, reading beta tester thoughts and have come to the conclusion this game is gonna be worth it. It may seem more like DOTA but there hasnt been a good top down rts or hack and slash game sine diablo 2. This not being exactly like that will definately fill the void with its rpg elements, and many people havent played DoTA because its a mod for a different game, but this is a stand alone. I hope I am right, so far
