I have consulted several skilled players and all agree that this buff is totally uncalled for and will have negative impact on gameplay. Please, reconsider rolling back RB to it's previous values.
Please don't provide hearsay as evidence of a needed change if said skilled players feel this issue is worth voicing concerns over they can do so here on the forums.
You could still do that directly by offering the pirates the mission to attack a specific player (down to what planet they would attack, too). If multiple players consipred on that one player they could even send him multiple raids at once. I don't see the player losing anything from my proposition. If anything it would make some diplomatic researchas more valuable...
Thumbs UP!

I would have the initial titan's cost lower, equal or a bit bigger than a capital ship. A button like the capital ship's, which lets you buy up to 4 levels would exist, but it would be to upgrade the Titan to a full-blown one once the new technologies are unlocked. For instance, it should at least depend on having
I have noticed at least in one patch back this may have been fixed that there seems to be an updating issue in the games database. I had lost a major planet which was supplying a large amount of culture and so the enemy culture was really hurting me, well I remidied the situation however it did not correct itself, I was still losing allegance on most of my planets. I fixed it by moveing my capital; this may be related to your issue.

As for steam yes it has had its issues what service that services 23 million doesn't? It has improved greatly over the past few years and continues to do so.
PFF Whatever dude you would do the same if your job performance was based on how much paperwork you turned in not how well you did your job.
LOL RED BUTTON! Whatever you do DO NOT TOUCH THE red button!!!!
Yea I am getting really tired of the poor me tirades of the Advent maebe they will shutup now, we have more important things to discuss.

Of course I will want all my XP going to the super cap ship that never truly 'dies'. Why would I possibly want to waste my money on additional caps in the current state of balance? Fairest solution is push the titan tech up the tree and rebalance their power accordingly. Whatever your stance on the XP is, it is hard to disagree 4 labs
Titans should be the ultimate weapon and crippling if you lose it. Yet they should also not be a must, but an option you can pick as alternative to a large frigate fleet. Them keeping their exp makes sending them on suicide missions just to gain a bit more exp not as bad as it should be. Given their firepower, the option of giving them exp makes an all frigate fleet less viable. Thus I'd rather see them with a purchase system like the starba
Very interesting I will have to check this out.
Quoting ZJBDragon, reply 14It is most likely that the titan's insides look like this for performance reasons. I'd rather spend my polygon and texture detail on the outside of the ship where people are normally going to be looking. Spending it on the inside seems like a waste since most people will never look there. We can go down this hole pretty deep. Should cabins with windows get rendered on other capital ships? Especially since I've already been 'helpful' in this thread and calling me unprofessional has nothing to do with anything. If both of you cretins need to get so worked up over a light hearted mock explanation as to why Titans keep their level then I don't know what to say. Lighten up? Don't insult people without any caus
The only time you can see through a current tech real live railgun is when it's harness is off. However in all fairness based on current tech in the USN I could see future and much larger scale railguns being open ended.
Do you want to know why Titans keep their level? It's because when they were being designed and everyone said BIGGER IS BETTER they actually realised at one point that they couldn't fit any more weapons on to it but still had tons of space left over. So one clever chap said, "well this whole losing your level when a capital ship dies thing is really annoying so let's include these newfangled things I just invented called 'escape

I'm also surprised why having different victory conditions are even remotely needed with a Titan added to the game play. The Devs have allways stated that rebellion would not have multicore support the only place that has been hinted at otherwise is Sins 2. Personally, I am hoping for a fullblown campaign in Sins2.
The second shot is a problem the first looks like your breaking the constraints of the game at which point anything that happens after that is your fault.
OPs really should put more thought into thier post otherwise they just end up clogging an allready busy forum.
Lol you know I saw another post by someone from the super weapon post talking about how someone was gonna bring this up after we started down that path with the SW. lols
I can understand the Dev's (supposed) desire to make the Titan accessible so everyone has a chance to use one. But I think that has more to do with Titan being a major selling point of Rebellion than consideration of the effect on gameplay.
Thats a pretty serious charge sir and I hope your wrong.
It will be a patch with stability fixes, performance improvements, gameplay bug fixes, and gameplay balancing. Exact change log won't be available until release. Also, while it is possible to turn off auto-updates in Steam, we highly discourage it as any feedback is 'tainted' by the version being out of date.
Lol damage managment for the post above? Good point though.
