Developers also like Steam because its a known commodity at this point and it has a HUGE user base. Nobody else on PC is even close.
Lol even Gamestop/Impulse is referring people back to steam.
Well, I didn't see anyone bring up price, but that's true. A good value is what it is. That's what really keeps Steam afloat, recognizing limited playability and offering sale

Honestly I usually take breaks when I am playing sins. This and my online MMORPG. Since I am still a young adult, I have all the time in the world to play sins without worrying about relationship stuff. Who needs a wife when you have the internet. JK.
Honestly I don't know your comp stats, but with my crappy comp and the last four years, I hadn't have any dump, even memory dump, and I am running on 32-bit. Perhaps it is your computer is the problem not the program.
I don't see Steam as a DRM platform but rather a distribution platform. Honestly, the only reason people download games from torrent is because there are so many games that are crappy and cost like $50 just to play for a few hours. And with these days with dlc packs, it is just too hard just to keep up paying for content that should have been released free of charge or should have been part of the original release. I think price has to do a lot with the amount of torrenting of the game yo
Is this realistic? *shrugs* Realistic isnt our main priority.
People you got to remember that Sins basically 1/10 to 1/15 the population/cost of everything just to make it faster. I mean do you really think a standard terran plant can only support 100 people, come on, it should support at the very least 1 million if not 10 million at the very least.
Wouldn't that have a problem for the Varsri instead of the Advent? Since they are moving from planet to planet all the time, kind of a waste of resources, if they can't stay on planets and keep their ships there.
Did you enable diplomacy options? I think you also have to enable diplomacy as a wining condition.
If you want to add realism I think the ships should NOT be phasing when in phase jumping. Nor should have smoke come up from a smoke stack like there is wind in space. Of course, explosions should be much smaller, so would the ships, and the number of crew on them would be numerous.l
We do know some of the crew sizes on some of the ships. The crew sizes for the titans will prolly be in the maneul as well.
I think they reduced the crew size down to a factor of 10 at a minimum. I mean crewing a capital ship using on 50 crew please.
Honestly I prefer that the Tec loyalist get instead of double starbase is double the number of titans.
Wouldn't that be something. A game that requires you to pay to access the beta, then you would have to pay again to access the final game.
From what I understand from talking to paypal before is that because stardock requires instant payment and to do so you need to have funds in your account. It will take the funds from the paypal account first, then the bank account you have linked to your paypal. What the credit card does if there isn't enough funds from your bank, it would take from there instead.
Honestly, when I start I usually crank the speed up using the + button because initially things are slow. But as things pick up and the lag start to become more unbearable you might want to down back down the speed.
Or you could just exit steam, not exit the UI, make sure that you shutdown the program entirely and then restart.
I disagree. You align a ship against a planet. You would see that he ships are much larger than they should be against a planet. Even against other ships, some ships are way bigger than the others. For example, the Kol against the Titans, I mean just looking at it, the Kol is roughly a quarter of the size of the titans. Even though it should dwarf it even more. And given that the titan is pretty much nearing half the planet size, maybe a 1/3 of giant planets such as the gas giants, it
Awesome, time to get cracking the Advent weakness and strengths.
Lol that's a lot of sites.
I'll second that. I think what is going to get the most attention is when IGN posted it on their Youtube page. Who would have though an unintentional release of the trailer (although now I think it was intentional) would lead to such success in marketing.
I just love the animation. I love how they edit the graphics, I wish they would import those graphics instead. I know they probably did it all in Maya and Mudbox with probably 100k-1m+ polygons per model but still I don't mind overhauling my comp just to have those graphics.
Although I heard if they release it on disc as CE I think you may or may not need Steam. I have to emphasize that is a guess.
Realistic? When did that become a factor in this game?
When I say so usually, but since I found out that the world doesn't revolve around me, I don't know. Now is a good time, wouldn't you say?
I would give you karma for telling me to get a clue, however, I won't give you karma because you think I am f**king train hopping hobo with an inferiority complex. And to be honest I like to think I have a God Complex instead of a inferiority complex.
Banned for posting wall post. I know I am too lazy to read.
Ok, given that the Convertdata has been released for Rebellion, I have started working on the Dynamic Movements. Here is what I am expecting what will happen with Dynamic Movement All class of ships are expected to be dynamic Capital ships are being consider for dynamic movement, dependent on class Titan's aren't getting dynamic movements, lets be realistic
What? It got updated but un-updated?
I am not having that problem.
