My postings here have no bearing on what Stardock or GPG are doing. It is my sole opinion. A few things... It is not "I apologies that my dxylexia.." it is I apologize if my dyslexia offends you. I can understand that dyslexia is a serious problem which impedes your ability to write properly. However, unfortunately, I also have a problem.. it is called Obsessive–compulsive disorder. In this case, my obsession is to

What's the difference between the queen of thorns and a nude rembrant? have you not seen a nude body before? Why is it that in America we avoid nudity but yet embrace violence? Europe has it right, deny violence and embrace nudity. Nothing wrong with the figure of a woman.

Frogboy.. you are perhaps the most entune person in the video game industry. Most of what you've said is pretty much dead on. Good to know that you guys at least know what the heck is going on. What I am going to do for my part is give you guys a list of the more common problems in a more precise succint way. Out of reading most of these forums, most people are expressing their problems with too much emotion without really displaying the cause of the problem. Exp

This is one I feel strongly about.. Gas Powered Games and Stardock have not screwed me in the sense that they produce good games that I enjoy and don't put stupid crap DRM into their products (as in spore.. which on top of DRM was a damn crappy game I paid 50 dollars for). Keep the good games coming GPG..

They might not go to jail for that long.. they are still appealing it. Their servers are also being moved to the netherlands, so the server will continue to operate and they did not make millions.. in court it was shown they made about 100,000 dollars or so. I don't condone piracy as it would put every person working on this for a living out of work (and out of a living) but I do think that piracy has made some software more popular (I can think of Windows 3.1)

One other thing.. I am a stickler for spelling. Extremely is spelled EXTREMELY. If you want people to take you seriously... learn to spell. Or at least use a spell checker. The developers are doing what they need to do in order to get this game into shape.

Frogboy.. this is not a new topic and you know how the pirate world works. I will be the first one to admit that I have bootlegged games among other things. However, one thing is certain.. I normally just delete any game I don't play and for the most part (or it gets abandoned.. since most bad games just don't get played) most good games get purchased. I have a library of over 100 games (purchased) and tons of movies and music (which were purchased as well). It i

Frogboy.. you are absolutely right. I work as an IT consultant for many companies.. and older routers are complete and utter crap. They freeze, they overheat, they can't load balance properly, can't handle bit torrent and sometimes the firmware gets corrupted. The two worst routers that come to mine are the first iteration of the linksys router and the dlink 524 (what a piece of garbage)

I actually also think that StarDock is doing an amazing job. In my book, they really came from out of nowhere and have a very decent UI for digital media download.. It can definitely rival steam. The only problem now is going to be having games in both systems. It would be nice that if you bought the game digitally somewhere.. the game would be available from any download service and have the game makers give a bit of the monies to offset the bandwidth to download the game (

Guys, I just want to say it takes a special company to cut through the red tape and actually speak (and hear!) your gamers. I've worked for activision before and one of my gripes was the secrecy of the games and the red tape usually required to even tell anyone what was going on (or even telling people I worked for Activision). Gamers get excited about the prospect of a game and can usually give good input. You have become my number one best l
