How can i fix this?

When i start a lan game against AI the game loads up but then it freezes as soon as i see the map. I still hear the music but nothing happens. Still haven't had the chance to play the game so i want this fixed quickly. Crashes after launch in Demigod Beta Feedback Demigod Forums

After starting the game in multiplayer, lan against AI the game loads for a while then shows me an overwiev of the map and the bar down on he screen that says i'm level 1 and some inventory slots but nothing happens from there on. I just hear some music while it's stuck like that and i have to ctrl alt del or restart my computer even somtimes.
