What behaviors qualify for criminalization is a legitimate political discussion. Opinions, speech, disagreements and other 'thought crimes' - not so much. [quote who="willistuder" reply="13" id="3633888"] HDCP is a copy protection protocol that has been around for about 15 years. It has gone through a few versions, and it seems that newer versions may not be backwards compatible with v1.0. Most new devices have it built in; your older TV may have it. [quote who="willistuder" reply="9" id="3633806"] It looks OK to me. I have no experience with Samsung players, but it fits your requirements. Have you looked into converting your present player to region free? I've tried it on a couple players of mine over the years, and it works fine. The manufacturers build them that way; you aren't hacking it in the normal sense, you are utilizing the manufactur

I'm one of the original WoM beta testers, so entitled to free upgrades to FE & Fe:LH, but I passed on FE:LH because of Steam. Recently found out it is available on GOG, so I plan to buy it there and kiss of my free steam key for it. Just want Stardock to know that their Steam deal is not universally popular. Post fine by me. And my preference is win 7 on my PC. Hope it doesn't die. If/when I am forced to win10, I will, hopefuly have a suite of addons/adjustments that take out the call home, spy-ware sleeze-ware built into it. If not possible, than, I guess I will have to, for the first time since I left the old Apple//+ OS seriousy consider a totally different OS - a non- MS based OS. Not looking forward to that day.

Responsibility is shared between parents, product manufacturers, advertisers, stockholders. We're all connected. We live in a pervasive web of sometimes perverse and cleverly disguised persuaders' messages. Lightstar rightly points out one example of a set of parents that somehow slipped through the Darwin Awards selection process. (sad) Doc points out some basic, common sense practices that everyone should be taught in our educational system. (Its easier

Dear Trudy, I feel sorrow at hearing of your recent losses. I don't know your hurt. But I do know what hurting feels like. Deep hurting bites the big one. May I gently suggest that you embrace your sorrow and hurt. But embrace it mixed with the fondest and happinest memories you have of them.
