Lord Xia, it's mostly just paranoia on my part thanks to a few hiccups in the past. When it comes to games like Fallout, where you're playing such an epic quest or story, I prefer to be absolutely sure everything is going to fall into place once I cross that finish line. And a few inconsistencies in the beginning of the game have left me skeptical of this happening. I'd hate for it to be like Awakening where the story ends up muddled. Something EA doesn't se

AT RELEASE: E: War of Magic: E (I still enjoyed it somewhat, oddly enough) Civilization V: D (It's difficult to describe but it felt lifeless to me. As if every game after my first would play in a similar manner.) Starcraft 2: A (Great atmosphere and thrilling gameplay.) Fallout: New Vegas: B (It was insanely fun but far too buggy for me to bother trying to complete.) END OF 2010: E: War of Magic: C (It's better

Dear Asadex, We get it, you hate the game, you have nothing constructive to add and you're controlled by this spiteful need to make the devs feel horrible, despite the fact that they're doing more than most gaming companies would. Elemental would have been long-buried and still buggy if Ubi or EA were in control. Also, "we're not your friends, buddy."
What do you want, blood?
I'll take mine in a golden cup... PHD if Stardock has any. That said, I'm just here to throw my insignificant weight behind Stardock. Even if Elemental's release was slightly fumbled they've been going above and beyond what's needed to set things right. It's been too long since I've seen such committment. I can't wait to see how Elemental grows and what FE will look like. Cheers!

Streetgang073, Are you going to compare the game to an iron lung next, or maybe a juicy mandarin? Bizarre comparisons aside, they've done a lot more than simply promise to get it working. So far the forums have looked something like this... Sidelines: "This game is horrible and full of bugs!" Stardock apologises and informs their buyers that they are aware of the problems. This act alone is unprecedented in the gaming ind

"Now I refuse to buy another Stardock game until this one is fixed." Stardock has pretty much vowed to do this and the fact that they're trying is practically all over these boards. I hope this is of some comfort because as far as gaming companies go, that's fairly admirable in my books.

I just had my first "Out of Memory" crash as well... I'm going to try playing on tiny maps with fewer players for now but I hope this issue is addressed soon. Still as others have said, this game has already shown tremendous improvement with the new patch. I can't wait to see what the next patch holds as well as the next book.

The most complex parties I've assembled are usually expeditionary ones, which I set off by ship. They usually hold little more than a royal family member (or hero), a few guards and a pioneer. And that's really just for fun. But your idea definitely seems worth a shot. Seems practical.
I'm curious as to who you think was being spiteful, as I saw nothing that fit that insult.
Good for you?
So you weren't referring to Aeon221, but who were you referring to? I'm curious, as the only thing even remotely 'spiteful' here was fearzone's comment regarding some unnamed person having never been laid. If folks are going to cast aspersions, courtesy dictates specifying, lest 'innocents' are smeared or think they're the ones referred to (as Aeon221 did).
Nick-Danger, is
Not sure where the spite comment comes in, since I repeatedly apologized and provided massive :words: of feedback. Speaking of which, anyone know what program Brad is using to film? I'd be willing to narrate a game for feedback purposes.
Who said I was talking about you?

I'd rather wait an extra month or two for the patch than suffer another wave of whining and overly-dramatic "goodbye" threads. I doubt Stardock is keen on repeating history by pulling the same mistake which led to the game's poor release.
Thanks and goodbye.
Finally! I was growing tired of your absolutely dreary attitude. Elemental might not be the gem everyone expected but it has more potential than most games, especially Civ 5. And I know many are pinning all their hopes on 1.1 but I'm looking far beyond that. Believe me, a bit of tweaking won't satisfy me. Once they attended to the complaints on AI, gameplay, etc, I'm expecting a bit more work don

Personally, I can't wait to see what Stardock makes of Elemental! There are a lot of promises and I know most of you find it difficult to simply trust a developer but I believe SD has proven themselves over and over again and thus warrant just a pinch more faith than most. With the right support, there have been plenty of games that have come out duds and turned into gems and I feel this can be the same, especially considering how maleable the world seems to be.

I discovered my problem. I was unaware you had to put the PayPal email with the serial. That's why it kept saying the serial was Invalid.
