Hi, I love the mod and so far it's worked like a gem. Just hoping that we get those gas giants and asteroid upgrades soon. :) I do have one question though: I am playing as TEC and have researched EWS Fighters, but have yet to see an option for deploying them. I have not built a Percheron or a Sova. Am I missing something?

Sad to see the gas giant colonisation isn't there, but the rest of the mod is looking good. I think the pirates are a nice difficulty with the cap ships thrown in. Maybe they could still be tougher on their home turf, but happy as is. The tech upgrades are beautiful. Maybe a cooperative job with the Mad Scientist team to get planet upgrades (which theirs could be tweaked to be more useful) would enhance the tech tree even more. All in all, a beautiful mod as is.

Humans might have tens of thousands, but theoretically a skeleton crew of hundreds could operate the base. An aircraft carrier today can have 5,700 crewmen. It really depends on what systems the base has. Trade ports mean civilians. Booms mean repair crews. Construction means repair crew and engineers along with officers transfering to the cruisers. If it's weapons only, only a handful of people would be needed to operate guns and then pilots and pit crews. So Sotris m

I'm sure it has. I just couldn't read 21 pages of it before I had to say something. Feeding the beast is all. In any case, I like the sound of most of it. Reminds me of the DFA mod, which I use almost exclusively. I agree that they're killing the Returning Armada. Maybe they'll tweak it before then or patch afterwards.

I apologize for beating a dead horse, but I must respond to Venym. This theory of "lock-in" is well argued, but an argument must be valid AND sound. If we take your assumptions to heart, you're right. There is just one problem: they're not. The company does not lock us in for a variety of reasons. 1) The store can be removed by unloading Impulse. 2) There are plenty of hackers and such acquiring the patches without Impulse or even with it, distributing it s
