greetings recently i have been looking for ways to prevent steam having control of mods installed to my game and i came across this site http://steamworkshopdownloader.com / which i have tested with Skyrim,Torchlight 2 and Starpoint Gemini 2 and so far it appears to work tis also very easy to use: <span style="f
CerberusN7
awesome :)
so i was looking through my gal civ 2 collection and i found a series of logos from the mass effect games I DID NOT CREATE THEM nor do i know who did if the owner/creator can be found all credit goes t
Cheers for the update, and thanks for working on Memorial Day (but at least from my angle, don't feel like you have to - developers are people too [e digicons]:)[/e] ).
I thought they were grafted to their workstations to create some kind of hellish caffeine/mountain dew/red bull fuelled abominations...xD
Greeting Stardock I would like to request a small feature tis nothing fancy but would it be possible to add the home world system or perhaps a drop down list to for race selection?
For those who want to play as a default race(without copying) and want a different logo this 7 step Program: 1. Locate FactionDefs.XML 2. Open with Notepad,Notepad++ or other alternative <span style="font-family: verdana,
Nice tutorials they made me realise i was using the entire start block instead of just the ship..which is probably why my designs always looked odd/faulty.
Looks good will have to remember to give it a go :D if i recall you also did some good stuff for GalCiv 2
Good to know :D and i only recalled the favourites button after deleting a part by accident and not being able to find it again...
Greetings really just interested to know if the favourites button from GalCiv 2 ship builder will be making a comeback? considering how useful it was i am surprised that it is not already in game (and yes i know time constraints/dead lines affect what is included at release)
Terran model 57 does not match thumbnail
i like number 4 on the grounds that complete indoctrination to a new (hostile)government would take a couple of generations due to certain cultural factors blatant racism/hostility and resistance movements that would inevitably form after a world is invaded then there is the slavery issue and various acts of brutality that would be committed by the invaders as a menans of showing their (percieved)superiority to their former enemies.. weather something like this is even possible is not s
would it be possible to make the ME2 SR2 Normandy(sensor ship) with the ship designer as it is?
Quoting Fangorm, reply 57 maybe i will just avoid recent releases from stardock and any other company for a few years so i don't have to waste time waiting for patches and loosing progress from beta issues...will not be the first time i have avoided something

My main irritation is losing the best run on any gal Civ game i have had so far everything just fell into place and then corrupted saves..... on a retail "ready"release pretty sure i read somewhere that there was a day one patch which never materialised(I may be mistaken)...my term "show Boating" comes from a company i briefly worked for that used the tactic to improve sales and reviews since they followed the "we will fix/s
Relax folks. It's just patch notes for the game. Lets not make us lock this thread.
i just get irritated when nobody's from nowhere tell me to shut up and go away.. i say similar/worse things to peoples faces when they do that in conversations
no i will not go away i have the same rights as you to post my opinion on something after all i am a customer of stardock like everyone else on these boards ...and i will say what i want when i want.. tell me did the stick up your ass come with the founders badge or has it always been there?
The question is not show boating a patch, and then sitting back relaxed and let the game be the game...but how can we improve on it..and most of all..is it stable? And that's exactly what they are working on here.....
then perhaps the release date for the game should have been pushed back (like pillars of eternity)that i could of dealt with. There are STILL so many issues that need fixing this game may as well be classed as 1.0 beta since that&
As someone who like's gal civ games and stardock in general i have to agree with OP about steam being the wrong place for mods hell i like steam its where my gal civ 3 is from BUT i hate the workshop.. Lets see i have 75 Mods for skyrim and NOT a single one of them is from the workshop they are all from places like the nexus and LL <span style="f
the big question is when will this show boating of the patch end and actually become a released patch...this week? next week? next month?? perhaps i made a mistake of getting Gal civ 3.. if they are going to show boat EVERY single patch, expansion, dlc for days or weeks at a time... absolutely ridiculous
yup thats how i have been doing it so far.. but game is still early release and all that's needed is time and patience i guess :P
So far the game is awesome had several runs(keep being (b)eaten mostly by the drengin:P but some times i dislike the world or placement and want a different setup and one way i am used to doing this with Galactic civilizations 2 is CTRL+N but that function appears not to work for Galactic civilizations 3.. will this be added in future updates/expansions/
