[quote who="Renevent" reply="23" id="2173500"]"May I point out the inherent contradiction in using that as a counter-argument, ArnieDude?" Because it is on the expense of someone else, and is a intentional act. A person who is new and may make mistakes is not intentionally ruining the game for you. You and people like you, are intentionally taking your frustrations out on another person and trying to ruin their experience. I mean seriously dude...d

I'm convinced. Santa will probably be a General in an expansion.
PEOPLE! Serious thread is serious. Some say it's Light because they have the Rook and Oak(and Regulus if you are a cheating multi-boxing tri-sniper). But if we apply my amazing Gorgrian logic, we can see how this is false. Why did the Delta Force need Chuck Norris? Because they're rubbish. Why does Daniel-son need Myagi? Because he's rubbish. Why does Earth need Superman? Because we're rubbish. What about every action film where the uber-
May I point out the inherent contradiction in using that as a counter-argument, ArnieDude? Why am *I* not allowed to enjoy myself? In fact, why is *the rest of the team* not permitted to enjoy themselves often because of a single player ruining it? It might not be deliberate; but the effect is so identicle that distinguishing between learning players and griefers is impossible, which is why I emphasised communication as being important at the start of my post. We only know the differe
Players that don't communicate give me a cause to flame. When they make blatant obvious mistakes, even for new people and there's never a "sorry" or "I need help" then they are the willingly stupid that deserve everything that comes to them. When playing a co-operative game, there is an expectation for what everyone should put in and games of this nature have now got to the point where it's actually quite hard to make such errors unless you're really trying to. This makes the distinction betw
Sorry but what the hell??? What happened in the two days since I was last on? There was 1/5th left to go and they were slightly behind, have people been playing marathon matches?
I've been neglecting Pantheon matches a lot, although those I have played I enjoyed a lot despite the randomness of being put in good or bad teams, because I've been trying to figure out the Torch. What I've so far found, but maybe I'm just rubbish: is that he effectively only had 3 spells compared with the 4 available to others(although I haven't experienced how the similar 'stance' mechanic works with Queenie). The most effective method of levelling appears to be concentrating on th
Want moar ideas! My idea for an Assassin would be a Ghost-Demon thing that possesses units and uses their body to wreak havoc before abandoning it with an explosion for big gory messiness, only to take another unit and do the same again. Another General would be an Ice Giant with a freezing aura. The catch is that special units must constantly hose it with flame-throwers to melt it's joints so it can move, but they musn't hose it too much because it loses health. It regains he
I read a Demigod preview in PC Gamer a few weeks back and it mentioned some of the units, though only The Rook was shown(big Babylonian-inspired dude with castles on his shoulders). What would also be a good theme for a Demigod General or Assassin? We definately need Pirate-Ship inspired General. You can't go wrong with pirates and pirate ships are even better. He can have sails and canons and a pirate crew visibly crawling over him.
Just registered here. Thinking about pre-ordering for the beta, but I'd like to know an exact date first and hope it's released before the cut off point. Apart from having fun, it would be nice to root out 'cheesy' tactics that make it too easy to win, like in Mortal Kombat 2 where it can be beaten on the hardest difficulty if you just keep jumping backwards in a corner and doing a flying kick whenever the AI walked right into it. Even worked on the bosses. I know you have all done it.
