Yeah the guy OP asked a fair question, I cant really say how it compares to starcraft but lets look at what sins has. It has a great research tree It 3 hours or more on games and if you get someone who isnt going to disconnect you get really long fun and epic games (In saying that you can get the odd game over alot faster but I wouldnt say its the norm) The fighting is more realistic in the sense systems with resource asteroids in them can become war hotspots and can be a warzon

Im actually 28 and its the hopeful horizons clan I am currently in, good thing is any matches you get weeks of notice for if needed. (I also reckon there are a good few older people in this community, as in older than the average gamer and I honestly say this as a good thing because it means you dont get many starting hassle on the forums)

Just to add , I do have some sympathy for the likes of SD , but the practices of some of the bigger companies are doing you no favours and look when it comes down to it if a product is good, it will sell, you will make a profit and anything else is just greed and an attempt to back consumers who already have extorionate costs of living and dont all have the luxury of hig paid jobs into a corner.

Im not sure if Im thinking along the right lines here but the best way to get in MP is to click the iron clad online ui button when the game starts , then create an iron clad online account from within game then you will enter the proper multiplayer game lobby and see people chatting, next if you look to the left and click join game you will see a list of active games, you can either join one or create your own, if you create your own and wait 5 mins you will probably easily get players in your

I just hope it works out well and I know I sound like a broken record but I really like the way sins plays, I hope they havent done anything crazy like put limitations in that mean much faster games and finite resources. Yeah I just hope with everyone going crazy we aint forcing them for a fast release because this game needs some content added as well :(. Looking at some of the other threads and the way its going I think its now going to be harder for them to just take their time and do an awesome patch.

Hiya , Just to say to the OP that is a pretty good post. I am a newbie as well but it seems to me like your getting the idea fast, one of my faults was I was so paranoid after reading about upkeep that I would only go to 2 cap ships but I am aiming for 3 or 4 now. The whole attack defense fleet thing I do as well and I know experianced players which do the same. Like someone said about the gauss guns they are really just to hold the enemy up but the hangars can do some dmg to enemy ship
