Reply to Rook's Towers are Broken, they self destruct after short amounts of time in Demigod Demigod Forums

That's for the first level of the skill, second lets you have four I think, and third lets you have six. I've also experienced my towers destructing themselves, though never when I was near one. I think they have some sort of timer that counts down to self-destruction once you wander off. That's just a guess though, I really have no clue. I havent found them perticularily useful... if the enemy demigod has any ranged skills he'll be able to take them out without them firing back at him.

Eh, feels balanced to me so far. I haven't played against many skilled players yet, but enemy assasin demigods havent had too many problems with my minions when I play as Erebus, and I never have issues with enemy minions. I usually just ignore high HP minions and think of them as small DoT spells that are applied to me, which will end when I kill the enemy general, if you keep moving most of them will hardly ever even hit you anyways. Eh, I'd buy it now. I've never experienced any freezing issues with the game at all like what one of the above posters commented on. She can mulch a shambler for 2250 once the skill is maxed at level 15, and at level 10 she can summon four shamblers at once, while mulching them each for 1500 (7 sec cooldown). Assuming she had the mana to do so, she could rinse and repeat this for quite awhile, so bursting her to death right away is very important. I really wouldn't call this an issue though, tricky to get around, but it's doable.

Hardly unplayable... a hastle to get into games, yes. But after five minutes of searching I've been able to get into a round that started almost immediately whenever I wanted to play online, though there were some latency issues, seeming to stem from players with 300+ pings with eachother. Eh? Are you buying any gear for HP and armor at all? Minions don't exactly do much damage, and staying away from minions shouldn't be too tricky, as a last resort you could just retreat behind some towers. Also, how on earth is controling a minion army with a general an exploit?

Haha, so I should pretty much avoid getting reinforcements? I really only see them as ways to help the enemy teams Oak or Vamp lord, and the only enemy reinforcements I ever had trouble killing were the giant titans. I seriously think they should give more incentive to upgrade your reinforcements. I mean, giving them +%10 health only works out to being 39 HP for the minotaur grunts, and vamp lord with 220 armor only prevents 8.1% of damage done to him... so giving a grunt +100 armor is only g

I've run the game about seven times now, only once did I have a sound popping issue, and it came bundled up with a frame rate slowdown. I'm not sure what it is, but there may be some sort of conflict with outside programs... my assumption is that talking with many people over ventrilo somehow affects it.
