How do you run Galciv3 in windowed mode? I'm trying to test why my game keeps freezing and crashing. Someone mentioned about running in windowed mode. I set the launch options for the game in Steam using "-windowed" and then later tried "-sw" (both without the quotes), but neither command worked. It still runs in full screen mode. Can anyone send me instructions on how to do this? Thanks, Damon

Great suggestions Lucky Jack! I tried option 2 and 3, but this didn't resolve the issue. I made it to turn 3 and zoomed out just a bit and the game froze up. I tried setting the "launch options" of the game to run in windowed mode, but couldn't get it to work. What command are you using to make this work? I tried "-windowed" and "-sw", but neither worked. Thanks for your help!
Nope not the problem. Latest driver already.
Lucky Jack, Here is my DxDiag results. https://www.dropbox.com/s/c5le7dkvs28smat/DxDiag.txt?dl=0 Thanks for looking! Damon
Lucky Jack, The problem is NOT the amount of memory. I'm running 16 GB of memory and my game crashes EVERY single time and with EACH version of the Beta. I've never been able to play past about turn 100. Today only to about turn 15 or 20!
I have never been able to play ANY of the Beta releases past about turn 100. Today only about 15 or 20 turns. When my game crashes, I have to kill it and start over only for it to freeze again. Support told me to update my video driver, which I did, but it didn't resolve the issue. Very frustrating!!!!! This needs to be fixed. I paid $99 for the Founder's edition and can't play the game. At this rate, I won't be able to play when it is "finished". Damon
My previous post has now shown up Fouuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrr times. Geez!!!
Ok, so I have already contacted support for this issue, but they were not able to help resolve the issue. I am a Founder and have reported GalCiv 3 crashes (freezes) after just a few turns of playing. It happens randomly and playing different alien races. I first reported this to support upon release of Beta 1. I then got frustrated and quit until Beta 2 was released, hoping it would get resolved magically. Alas, my magic failed and the same crashes occurred in Beta 2. So, I quit playing
I have installed it, but haven't run it yet. I'll do that first thing tonight. Thank you!
Purchased on Saturday via Steam. When I login to name a star, Stardock site says registration info not found. What can I do?
