I am thinking of getting Arnor but I am curious, since I never pre order games before. How can I pre order this game? Do I have to do it through this site and pre order it? Do I have to use a credit card? Do you pay full price for it or just a down payment? Vista home premium amd athalon 64X2 dual core prossesor 4000+ 960 mb ram. I was told it was one gig or ram, but guess it's going to the vid card. nivida geforce 6150 le installing galciv2 now, so not shure how this will work. when I had a free loaner for a laptop,
I think you do, I tried it, but when I saw I only had one hit point, I scrapped my design. Watch out for the one hit point.
the only options you have I am afraid is patience. Either wait till they have the vista patch, ( I had problems with playing DA on vista) or do what I did, gave up on it, and went to xp. I got a slower laptop, with only 512 memory, and playing DA without problems now. Mind you I never got past turn 20 yet but having a blast designing ships. When I played on vista it took almost 10 minutes just to get the game to load to play. Now it takes only 2 or less minutes to load. <b

I did exacgly what you said. One thing I noticed, it said where it says instaled 1.5 and avaliable 1.59[b].098. when I click action, update, i go to the screen where to buy the game. I guess when I installed DA it went to 1.5. can I upgrade this? Or did I some how upgrade it and not realize I have done it? Got the expansion pack, and played a bit. I am trying to find the update to the game and can't find it anywhere on this site. I tried downloading the StarDock program, clicked on DA and it gave me to the screen where to buy it. I already bought it lol. Is there and update for DA? If there is how do I download it, and where do I find the changes to what is made to it. Thanks for any help Davor
Hi all, I installed Kyro's mod on anthour computer and had no problem running it. Well I returned the laptop, it had Vista, and couldn't use the computer since it ran so slow. Any ways finally got anthour laptop, and trying to install Kyro's Mod, but when I go to options and to click on the mods, it only has default. I dont' see Kyro like I did last time. What am I doing wrong? What can I do. Please help. Davor

if I play in widowed mode, will it slow down the laptop? I tried playing Civ 4 windowed and it ran reall slow on my 3.5gz pc.

yes this is the program i was looking for, just wish this was incorperated into the game. The game runs so slow on my computer that I can't alt-tab out to use this program, and when I do, I forget the properly spelt name and can't find what I am looking for. Can the Galitic Civopdeia be incorperated into the game? Make it more fun and eaiser. Saw the "Did you know thread" says if you hit the key C it will show the next ship with movement points left. Started playing GalCiv II DA and love the game. Spend most of my time just making designs. There are a few things that bug me and maybe I just don't know, that there is a feature for it. If not I really think it should be implemented in a patch. My first problem is I have only 5 ships right now, it might be small but my problem is big. I know when a ship moves all it's movement points it goes to anthour ship or so it's suppose too. Is there a way, or can it be implemented in a

I am just starting playing the expansion. I played GC2 but only for a week. I spent most of my time just making cool designs. I remebered I had to download a file so I can use different race ship frames. How do you do it for the expansion? is it the same file or something different now? If it's a different file, where do I get it. Where would I install it to? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
can you steal enemies tech? can you sabotage their production? can you destroy improvments on an enemy planet? I thought I read these things would be incorperated into the expansion.
I bought GalCiv2 about 6 months ago but didn't play it much. Loved it when I did play but only 20 turns or so then had to stop. I just noticed at my eb store that they are selling GalCiv2 with the expansion. I am thinking of getting it but how is it? I was upset that there was no espionage in GalCiv2. i had no problem with oblivion, even with my built in 32 meg vid card, i know the settings were down to med to low, but ran good. had no problem with the sound at all. How do I post debug.err? i don't know what that is lol
but that is the funny part, i have no problems with anything else at all lol. Any computer savy people out there can tell me what to look for? All I know is I have an intergrated video and audio card, not shure if that helps at all.

Could stand it for a bit, but now it's driving me crazy. Tried turning music off, special effects off, but still crackling when ever a sound is played, I have no problem with any other applications just GC II. Is this normal? Anything I can do to eliminate it? Makes me not want to play. Like having background music gives me the feel of playing a good game lol. Any help would be appreciated.
