Natural gas is plentiful & cheaper here in Ohio (Methane - not propane). The price of the tank is about the same. The folks that I know with electric baseboard heat have less dust in the house. When the power is out we can cook on the stove top - but not the oven. We have hot water - but the furnace is force air - so no heat.
