Also might want to mention that not only to TP scrolls have a faster cooldown, they also have a /seperate/ cooldown, meaning you can teleport home or to assist an ally, and instantly teleport back to your tower farm.

Re: Lemminkaeinen, Yah, Bite was way too good. It was extremely difficult to justify not taking it. Even when building a highly minion-centric build, despite the very large bonuses you can potentially get out of Mist, Bat Swarm, and Morale, the skill points for Bite felt mandatory.
I just tried out the Amulet of Teleportation. I like it. A lot. One unmentioned advantage: with a normal scroll of teleport, you have a cooldown. Either you waste time around base until cooldown completes or you run back to the front after teleporting home. Not an issue if you get home by dying, of course, but... Generally, dying is suboptimal (Invincible Oak on Fortress Mode is the only exception I can think of). The amulet has the same issue, exce
One point of mist
If you spec for it? Well, the minion build is a common build. On top of that any erebus worth his salt has atleast one point in Mist to avoid large burst damage that could kill him (Snipe for example). It's not like you are putting points into a useless ability for the spec.
One point of mist doesn't really cut it - you need enough to actually kill their minions as they pass through (ie, you need to

If you have 4 regs sniping back in their base, who is defending the front of the base? all you would have to do to counter this is first, capture all the flags, giving you a nice advantage, and the start rushing for the base. level up your reinforcements fast and the towers will go down in no time. even if every time the cd is up one demigod gets eleminated from your team, thats more time they arent hit

The 10% dodge is added because 30/hpsec regen is not powerful enough to warrant being so far down the skill tree. The current build Im testing/mastering is the Erebus MistMinion Build. Alright, a friend and I just tested Erebus vs Rook, Regulus, and TorchBearer, and none of their respective abilities were capable of injuring mistformed Erebus. Although Regulus could plant mines that'd detonate as soon as I shifted out... I'm guessing that may've gotten changed in one of the recent patches.
Regulus can toss mines into the mist and it will in fact damage Erebus while in Mist form. Oak's AoE will affect Erebus as well. Torchbearer can bring him out by casting Circle of Fire, Fire Nova, and Rain of Ice. Just because he's in Mist form doesn't mean he is invernable. There is a reason why Bloody Haze increases his evasion by 10% while in Mist form. Since he can't heal, use abilities, or move while in Mist form it will force him to either

Did some quick testing on mana regen, timing how long it took for mana to regenerate after a bout of spell casting with different gear and at different levels. Here's a table of the results, all tests conducted with Sedna: Level <td width="
This probably isn't a particularly practical technique, but it is hilarious. I started a game on Crucible with flithy rich starting cash and level 15 starting level, purchased the highest rank of Mist Form, Bat Swarm, and all the Night Walker upgrades. I used my starting cash to stock up on helms - basically bought all the ones I could afford, although I'm sure that was substantial overkill (I still haven't figured out the math on mana regen). I then used Bat Swarm to telepo
Even worse. On some maps the citadels are relatively close to each other. It only takes 45 level 1 max-range snipes to take down an un-upgraded citadel. That is 11.25 minutes with 1 Regulus, 5.6 minutes with 2 and 3.75 minutes with 3. The obvious counter to this is to upgrade your citadel but the regen rate isn't fast enough so you are only delaying the inevitable. Can a regular mixed team of players push and win faster th
I think you might have a little misconception of what generals are supposed to be. Erebus and Oak, at least, can use their minions much like Rook uses his towers. They're there, they're a considerable extra passive DPS boost, but they're not really focused on. I suspect that's working as intended. Sedna is far more minion focused, and hence requires a lot more awareness. This might account for her holding the lowest win % in the pantheon.

I've effectively used the flag lock strat a few times. Run in, grab a portal flag, lock it, teleport out. Really confuses the enemy, and makes them waste a lot of time.
What about the Planet Quality bonus? Is it worth the 3-8 points? I usually take the 3-point version, and find it works decently. At the very least, it makes all those size-4 planets that the Torians keep 'giving' me suck a little bit less.
Another issue with the custom races: Some abilities that the standard races have are not available to customs - notably, Miniaturization. This means you can get more variety by choosing a premade 'base' race to customize.
