Ah, the Ivan. (A.k.a. Tsar Bomba)Thermobaric weapons will in no way replace nuclear weapons but they could potentially provide a scaled down weapon of mass destruction that would solve the problem of radiation.
Well, if you fire a nuke, other countries might (99% certainty) retaliate. And faster than you can imagine, our world is dead. If you fire a non-nuclear weapon with no residual effects what so ever.. Well hey, go ahead! Thats the danger with those new
Every couple of days, I sit down and decide to give Twilight another try. After all I payed for it.But seriously, how can you Stardock guys sleep at night after releasing such a - nicely designed - but horribly programmed pile of crap? The memory leaks bring my framerate to a halt after 1-2 hours of play and force me to restart the game. The User Interface is totally sluggish, plus the game annoys you with constant popups and has a tendency to spring stuff on you (i.e. move the screen to t
I just hope they fix the combat :) Galciv + sword of the stars combat & combat-physics = droolmaterial
I had this problem too, but i figured out that it had something to do with the techs i picked for my civ.. If i use all my tech points, its invalid for some reason.. But if i remove some starter techs so i have about 50 tech points unused, then its valid. Wierd, must be a bug ?
Stats mean nothing: Stats are stupid, they aren't but they are. I have about 15 ames played and all loses because my freaken ally leaves or i have to go take a huge dump or some crap and i'm forced to leave.
And thats the reason why ppl always leave when i join any game in C&C3 lol! I guess my 5 wins 40 losses doesnt impress much ^_^ The fun thing is that those 5 wins were all in 6-8 player FFA games, im not a crappy player, the reason i got 40 losses is because
if you don't like it change it. Modding unit stats isn't that hard really, just a little time consuming.
Like in every other RTS, that means that you cant play online anymore the second you alter a file. Thats why people care about official patch changes, because they/we want to play online, since we paid for that functionality. And if some change in a new patch is outright stupid and gamebreaking (which i do NOT think in this case btw, just an example), its the same
Days? Weeks? That sounds rather encouraging. It almost sounds as though it's mostly done and they just want to playtest it a bit before releasing it.Playtesting things "a bit" can take months depending on how many "WTF?" bugs slipped in. Just imagine the reaction is some misplaced line of code prevented autocasting from occurring for some insane reason.
Dont even say that, its not funny! :SNIFF!: I cant live without autocasting :NOTSURE:
Get your eyes checked out and get glasses or contacts :)
Too bad it has no actual gameplay applications.. I'm still waiting for a game that allows for big armies :(
let me quote from Source Mass Effect uses SecuROM and requires an online activation for the first time that you play it. Each copy of Mass Effect comes with a CD Key which is used for this activation and for registration here at the BioWare Community. Mass Effect does not require the DVD to be in the drive in order to play, it is only for installation. After the first activation, SecuROM requires that
Omg awesome! Industrial Planets? Old Naval Base? alot of hidden goodies :D But one thing.. The Toxic planets.. ingame it says "Toxic Planet (texture by Whatshisname)" Is it gonna be like that? :P
Forest worlds should have a bit more health than normal terran worlds, due to the fact that they are completely covered in forests and foilage, which would slightly postpone any toxic effects from nuclear attacks from space etc, if you know what i mean :P And perhaps a tiny bit lower popcap than terran planets (hey, its hard building cities around trees compared to an open grass field/savannah etc)? AWESOME mod btw :) I do wonder something, which i hope you will add so
You cant kill planets with LRM. There, solved.
Using photoshop? If so, load the texture and click on Filters/Other and choose Offset and change the top slider a bit. Click ok and fix the edges so they match, then undo the offset :)

I know this isnt helping.. But its like this in every single game ever created, really. :P Its boring and tedious, but thats the way it is. In fact i usually quit in every RTS (in single-player) once ive attacked with my main attack force and destroyed the enemies main bases. It just isnt fun to mop up the rest.
So has anyone found out ANY way to make Homeworld 2 run in vista? After the patch obviously, thats neccessary for the neat mods. I just keep getting the DEP error, all the time. Cant even start it up :( Never had any problems like that with any other game, ever.. And if i try to change the settings to be able to pick which apps should NOT be protected by that DEP thing, when i choose the homeworld2 exe it just says "This application HAS to be protected by DEP". I mean, what the f
Who cares? Homeworld 2 doesnt work in vista anyway :(
If you dont like high supply limits, why do you enter a thread that has the topic "20000 unitcap" ?? :P Nice mod tough :)
I NEVER play the campaign in rts games. So for me personally, i couldnt care less if they didnt have one. I'd rather let them spend those extra months fine-tuning the actual gameplay, rather than sit and make an interesting scripted linear same-everytime-you-play-it campaign.
Well..... Its a mod i really wanted, more backdrops. But as it is now the ambient lighting isnt matching the backdrops, some of the backdrops have incorrect ambient lighting, or perhaps its the skybox? For example which gives ships, planets and buildings an orange tint, while the background is blue. :SNIFF!:
I would be interested in a mod that JUST changed the unit cap levels like you wrote, and nothing else. Not changing the upkeep cost or anything else, just simply increasing the ammount of cap per level. To have 10000 ships should cost you 75% of your income (or whatever the default final level is), because 10000 ships is insane :)
Who uses internet explorer anymore?
I do, because i dont see any reason to Not use IE, especially now that it also has tabs :) I just surf around, dont need any unessecary gimmicky functions :)
