What does War Profiteering do? What is the difference between 50%, 10%, 0%, -10%, an 50%?

Well, if you are a warmonger you could just invade it to get it back or you could use a spore ship.
That event really does suck. It has no point/ If you are going to make a mega-event, don't make ones like these. Really. They're just a pain and the back and they just make me load my auto save 2 turns back. It's not like the Jagged Knife does anything after they get the planets. Make more unique mega events. Like space monsters, not original I know. But hey, it's better than having a bunch of wussy minors take over the galaxy in one turn right?

Bump. Formis, have you died or something? ;p Have you given up on making pictures, or what?
The mapeditor is nice, but it has some problems. First, you cannot create/import custom ships on the map. Next, I find it kind of hard to use. Mostly with deleting stuff though. Thirdly, the randomizer needs doing. You should be able to set how you want it done. Like how you set up a galaxy regulary; tight clusters, planet numbers, asteroids, minors(maybe), habitable planets, anomolies. Finally, there needs to be a way to customize a planet. Put bonus tiles on it or put improvements on
You can zoom all the way out and they should show up
This time perception twist is cool.....their leader should be called Kronos. This sounds familar; are you referring to the Kronos of Greek mythology?
Yes, I belive he was the god of time in the Greek mythos. Etymology wise, we get alot of words from his name. Like chronograph, chronology, and chronical.
If you are playing TA you could have a cargo hull with a few hardpoint on it and then put some weapons on it. It works for me.
Lol. I've seen that bug too. For example the Yor were pursuing a cultural victory by researching 'Doom rays'.
Funny considering that the Yor have little to no influence techs.
I'd like to see the 20,000bc issue gone. It can crash an economy if you are strained already.
(Luckmann:)Really, the same can be said for any race.
Okay, so Torians, Drengin, or Arceans are just as tough as machinery when t comes to enviroments? They need oxygen(or do they?) to live and that is a major weakness when it comes to enviroments. If you go into a cave filled with toxic gas, you will die. Send a robot in and he wouldn't be phased at all.
Thanks, i was wondering about that myself.
Dude, this post is a year old. But ev.
I actually favor minors building constructors....they keep them safe from my enemies and I snatch them when I conquer their nice class 15 planet! :d
That does shorten things a bit. Do you set up trade routes for extra income, or rely mainly on improvements and taxes?
I relied on taxes, tourism(not sure if it was open fully), and the mega improvements on conquered worlds. I even had a mind control center. Even a whopping +100% to the economy couldn't help. I also had a bout 4 economy mining bases, which were docked out with lots of guns and I kept them pumping out as many bonuses as they provided. Oh, and als
600bc/turn! That is a good thing, but all my millions of bc's went down the toillet because it wasn't over 20,000bc and that plucks my short hairs, ALOT. You went from ~600bc per week income to -400bc per week, when you had millions of bc's saved? You are talking hundreds vs hundreds of thousands. How long would it take to consume even 2 million bc's at 400bc per week? Do the math.
I'm playing on a huge galaxy and I have a large portion of the map as the Yor and I have a ton of money saved up. WAY more than 20,000. I declare war, my revenue plumits from 600bc/turn to -400bc/turn and dropping. That isn't even the best part, through long drawn out wars, my treasury is slowly grinded down.... until I get 19,856bc. Then my economy turns from a perpetual Black Tuesday to an economic boom! 600bc/turn! That is a good thing, but all my millions of bc's went down the toillet becaus
Or perhaps they realized that Elvis really was the King after all! I agree with you on your point, though. I just don't see any of the 'polar opposite' races flipping to one another.
Yes...odd, especially in a game not to long ago, the Iconians were myfriends. I \, the Yor conquered the entire galaxy, and the only

Isn't the No Mercy Invasion Center suppose to nullify all of the negative effects of invasion?
What ever happened to the January or December release? If we had decided to go for December, would the release date of been at the end of January? Can we have atleast one more beta before it gets released?....Pleeeeease?
Don't not never invade our planet!
I, being a jerk, rejected him!
Well into the game Lord Kona contacts me, after many a war with me, asking for this tech. The only problem is....
I morale on homeworlds should be higher, the civilization capital should be more powerful in this regard.
