I am having display problems so I apologize if someone commented on this before (it's really hard to read much here right now). I have often wondered if most people know that these forums are available for a lot of things and a lot of levels of user, from novice to geek. Perhaps you could find a way to let people know more about the forum when they register. Perhaps you could find a way to link people to interesting or technical or fun posts on the forums, maybe even

I uninstalled WB and then the new version showed up to download. When I downloaded and installed it I found that the skin *arrow* was missing. It's folder was there, mostly empty. I uninstalled WB and reinstalled and that skin remains missing. Everything else seems fine.

There is a link in there to an old article. From memory, both level three and cogent knew this was going to happen a month ago. From what I understand cogent spent this time rerouting what they could and preparing for what may come. Level three was silent. I'm not saying that I believe this is the whole entire story. It may be, the article seemed authentic. But there are always two sides to everything. Yeah, for sure if I find som

I'm going to be looking for something that does not use level three, or at least doesn't depend on them entirely. No matter how this gets resolved, I don't agree with what level three did and I have no confidence in them. RoadRunner was caught like I was, that's true. But I was already a little unhappy with RoadRunner concerning some of their issues locally. Cogent has an offer that seems interesting, and when I can get through to them I am going to c

I have been trying to contact cogent to find out about their free offer. It may not be the best permanent solution, but at least if people are going to stick it to me they can do it on their dim

You might close the dock without saving. If you don't save it, then the next time you open it it should open your last saved configuration. Which kind of dock are you using (OD+ or the free one)?

Starkers... well then. I got the goods on them... wonder how much they would be willing to pay to cover up the extra terrestrial littering fee? hehe.. I've noticed that too fuzzy. I have a hard time feeling comfortable with the tripod. I am looking forward to trying that string trick. I was about asleep when I smelled smoke... a big fire only about a block away from the house that burned down three times already. This is one picture I got. By the time I

It appears to be a lens flare from off camera somwhere. A bright flash somwhere else, a reflection, or even just the angle of the camera may have caused it. I've been wondering if it wasn't one of those airport searchlight things... usually you can see the path from the point of origin up, but I was standing with that area almost exactl

A trick I use a lot on steadying the cam is to use string. The base of your camera has the screwhole attachment for a tripod, what you do is get a good solid piece of yarn or kite string perhaps, tie one end of the string onto a screw that will fit into the camera. I'll try that. I have a little tripod but it is frustrating to use.
