mostly blinds aren't zipped. change the extension to .wba and double click it. WHA?!?!? Blinds AREN'T zipped 0_o?!? Then what the heck have I been doing!? Wow....I was not aware of this...well...boy is my face red here...hehe...>_>

Just got finished configuring the only two true gaming laptops out there: Dell XPS Gen2: $3602 discounting tax/shipping Alienware 7700: $4265 without office software/tax/shipping (both have 256MB graphics, and 7700 has Dual-Core 3.6 Ghz, and Dell has 2 Ghz Pentium M) So yeah, while a gaming laptop IS possible, most of us just don't have the budget for it (heck my XPS Gen4 desktop was only $3100 without the monitor ($4200

Could it be a rar problem? As soon as I got OD I uninstalled WinZip and replaced it with ObjectZip, no problems there. I haven't used WinRAR in awhile, so I'm not sure if I can directly help you. My guess would be that there's one main exe file in the list that installs it, and just displays every other file for the heck of it.

Well as far as gaming goes...that won't get you much (if you're hard-core). Now, if you want to play some Age of Empires, Doom II, or Simcity 3000 (games like that), then you could give it a go. However, games like Empire Earth II, Half-Life 2, etc, no, only laptops I know of that could play those are a Dell XPS Gen2 or an Alienware 7700 (which both cost around 3-$4,000 with good upgrades). Ha, I have one of those Mx1000 mouses Horizon...and while it did cost $80, it's pretty cool. It's really more of a gaming mouse though (that laser is UBER-responsive, like you said) but the 3 side buttons are very handy for web-browsing, faster than the keyboard shortcuts anyway, but it doesen't do it ALL (however, it comes pretty close ). Sorry, I should have been a it more clear. To answer your questions: 1. I got past the BIOS screen, then the boot-screen would load, and soon afterwards I would get a bluescreen saying, "A fatal error occcured while attempting to initialize windows" The backup was a standard full-image made with the backup function in the system toold folder.
