OK let's get down to brass tacks. Master OrbitJuice says we need 3.00d[b].002 and yraq says to use zapper and install 3.00a. 3.00a doesn't work on my computer - period. What the......?!? I'm tired of all this. I just emailed support for a link to the latest build which would be "B". Either it works or it doesn't. I bought IP3 on June 27th and still can't run it. Messed around with it a number of times. Forced to do 3 restores. Stardock when are you gon

None of my pals or my wife give a hoot in hell about desktop customization. My wife thinks I'm an addict and a bit insane. I opened the topic of addiction. My buddies say it's cool but then change the subject. My kids get into it more so but even they are not as crazed about it as I. It is an art but I am not an artist and I the love art so I collect the art and display it on my desktop. My collection is growing very large. I can't stop nor

I can't stop going to Wincustomize. I change my desktops almost everyday. I am constantly experimenting with skins old and new. What gives? Is this an addiction? My wife says it's legal crack!

Thanks Alberto but it still says the serial number is invalid. I'm calmer now but I definitley ain't happy. All I want is to be treated fairly. Get what I payed for. I have loved the Stardock product line. That's why I switched from Aston Shell. With Stardock almost evrything is skinned. Please fix this.

I won't be suprised if they don't keep this post up! I'm not very happy right now. The basic version of DX3.1 installs OK. The enhanced version won't install even though the link and serial number were sent from Stardock. I thought I'd upgrade. I thought that if you had the enhanced version to begin with you'd get the upgrade and sure enough when I entered my email address I was sent info with the link for the upgrade and the serial number to enter on

I think it is completly reasonable to wait for 4.6. These are the rules. If we don't like it then we must lump it. No one twisted our arms to buy piecemeal. The only thing I am not happy about is IP3. I feel like I've thrown $14.95 down the drain. The latest build still locks up my computer and it is frustrating because all the other Stardock stuff up till now works great. I want to know when IP3 will be fixed for us all. <img src="http://images.stardo

Hi Fairyy & Marianne Fairyy I have a question: are you saying that the version they are offering now has the problems fixed? I thought I saw in one of the posts that you were running McAfee and you were having a lot of problems with IP3. This is what has happened to me too. They have it fixed? Ya think they would let ya know.

Citizen Casalla - Just so I understand, are you saying that after two days of testing you found out that it was IP messsing up the system or you know what other program is messing with IP. If it is the later would you be willing to share your knowledge? What program is messing up IP3? All I have gotten from Stardock help & support so far is uninstall - reboot - reinstall. This was done before I even contacted them. In the real world if I bought a produ

I bought IP3. Installs fine looks good but when logging off then logging back on wierd stuff happens especially with McAfee (See #10 the dude) Virus scan won't go on, can't go to the McAfee control panel. Can't do anything with Windows control panel. Firefox won't go. $14.95 down the drain! I had to restore back 3 days then all was fine except that my $14.95 is gone! XP home, SP2, Compaq Presario 2.8 ghz, 512 RAM. I really think there is something with

Hey WolfwoodX, show me a shot of OSX that looks like and can do what Office System 1024 DX theme does. All ya need to run it is DX3. No, you don't need 12 programs. I use OSX at work. It's great but I am so sick of hearing about it. Why can't we all get along? I make my desktops look like XP desktops BECAUSE I LOVE XP. I tend to stay away from the OSX simulations because if I wanted OSX I'd buy a Mac. I love Windowblinds and DesktopX because it takes u

Never used Linux. I love XP - Hated 98 - think that OSX is pretty cool. I use XP at home because it gets the best bang for the buck. In a perfect world I'd have one machine running XP, one machine running OSX and one machine running Linux. I can't afford to run three machines. At work I'm on a Mac 8 hrs. a day. We still use OS 9.1 a lot but some of the machines are running OSX so I'm familiar with OSX too. OSX looks nice, has some good features but it

I for one would not put up with this situation. If the computer is new then it should have shipped with SP2 and all the drivers should be up to date. Unless the mouse and keyboard you attached to it are ancient I don't see where that should be an issue. I basically agree with Inge18. Unless you got this machine with little or no warranty or support I'd take it back where I got it and DEMAND a solution. If the sucky mouse and keyboard make the problems
