Your post confuses me a little, you seem to be arguing my point as if I didn't make it and arguing against things I never said at all. Maybe you not just commenting on what I wrote.
There is not even such a side effect.
I see the confusion here, what I mean to say is that you must be secular in following the scientific method and that is falsely seen as an agenda by many. In order for there to be an agenda there has to be a choice.
At

The main thing that creationist get wrong and the reason we have this discussion over and over again is that they see the immutable fact that science cannot consider the supernatural in order to function as being a choice to exclude God. Dawkins outspoken atheist beliefs reinforce these false conclusions so while I understand his frustration over how he is villainized by religious groups I think he does more harm by not ignoring them. It also doesn't help

If creationism were a legitimate scientific theory then abiogenesis would be the competing theory, not evolution. Science can only ever consider naturalistic causes because it's the only thing we know or can prove to exist. Whether life was designed or not is at present irrelevant to abiogenesis. If all life was designed then the only way for science to show it would be to prove life could not possibly come about spontaneously and we have a whole lot o
I don't see how the Nuclear Non-Proliferation treaty you mention has squat to do with the Compressive Test Ban Treaty. You are obviously unaware of the Nuclear Reliability Testing program. The (unclassified) information is available, I don’t have time in instruct. As for the CTBT here’s an excerpt:
You said "In my opinion the weapons should continue to be developed, the cleaner the weapon the better. It's been decades since the US exploded a bomb". D

Religion is the spring from which all morality flows. Without it we would all just be running around satisfying our carnal urge du jour  This kid is wise beyond his years. <embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/JUgb8aIouzI" wmode="tr
Perhaps you didn't see my words "In my opinion"
I see your words just fine and in your opinion we should resume testing for the purpose of building a better bomb. This is in direct violation of every aspect of the NPT. You wouldn't just have to ratify the treaty you would have to abolish it.
It’s called fusion, you might have heard of it, unlike fission in use today. It is a long way off sure, but if you’re going to use laws to make
In my opinion the weapons should continue to be developed, the cleaner the weapon the better. It's been decades since the US exploded a bomb.
Yea we should break the NPT, that'll usher in a new era of peace and put everyone back on the road to sanity, brilliant. A cleaner nuclear reaction is not possible, unless you think we can change the laws of physics.
I pray the devices never have to be used in anger, but I know there are people/groups/nations w

I'm certainly glad to hear the economy's looking up, my business is down 60% from this time last year and the business I do get earns 40% less profit. That's across the board for anyone in the home building and remodeling business around south Florida. I was fortunate and was able to sell my properties before things got to bad but allot of builders got stuck with these money pits and are getting in deep. If your the repo man business is booming, it's up some 300% over last year accordi

I'll leave 2 or 3 bucks, plus another 3 to 6 in pocket change I've accumulated per night. I know change is a pain but moneys money and I like to travel light.

No one has yet answered how, tangibly, gay marriage would effect them. The slippery slope is a logical fallacy but I could certainly see polygamist asking for the same right. I really don't have a problem with polygamy ether, if some guy falls in love with a bisexual woman that has a girlfriend and the girlfriend falls in love with the guy, let' em get married and color me jealous. Polygamy is fairly rare outside of cults anyway, jealousy is just too strong an em

I thought GW was a religion, so he didn't change his mind he converted. ;)
So see it's all about interpretation of the evidence.
He didn't re-interpret evidence he changed his mind based on a new computer model. That's what good little scientist do. They don't marry their opinions. You should always link the article your quoting from. Link

I don't think I was really going to change it I've had it way to long. I was trying in a round about way to persuade my fellow JU to use the the acronym SF rather than stubby. Everyone's been calling me stubby for years though I think I'm getting use to it. :NOTSURE:

Life on the web means a whole bunch of user names. As soon as you submit a UN you begin to realize just how many people there are on the web when you have to add numbers to what you thought was very unique. I've registered a UN with at least three dozen forums but only actually use maybe half a dozen. You never know witch ones your going to be using frequently so most of time I don't think my choices through. Back in 1994 I registered with a form at MetaCreations for discussing their program
Why not? Creation Science is about HOW God did it. God didn't explain this to us. We have a biblical framework to start with wihich is much better than what the Evolutionists have and we go from there. So why would there be no point? He wants us to use our minds. Science is quest for truth and to ignore God is NOT-Scientific!!!!
I've read the biblical version of creation, what more can we learn that isn't written there? What can science tell us about

I'm not going to read anything you write ever again Lula, every time I read your ignorant repugnant responses I get farther and farther away from religion and any relationship with God, and that's not what I want.

I've heard people say it would destroy marriage. How exactly that could occur or even how they would even know when gays get married is never defined. I feel it's no different than one religion saying just the fact they know other religions exist cheapens their own beliefs.

Creation science is an oxymoron. When you can fill in the gaps with God, science becomes useless. Even if it was obvious that we had a designer you would still have to leave God out of it less there would be no point in studying how all this came to be because it could never be explained. Evolution in no way excludes design but with ID, with aliens being the intelligence, there's still nothing to teach. The aliens would have to have used science and most likely evolution to create us so w

You simply will not accept that ID is not science even though it's been proven to you over and over again. So ether you don't understand it or your trying to redefine it. Take at look at Ock's post, What is "The Scientific Method?" maybe a miracle will happen. All the people that were supposed to have been "expelled", are still working in their fields, none were fired or e
